Sauerkraut: Thinly sliced, Salted, fermented cabbage
Pretzels: Yeast dough rolled and wrapped into an iconic shape before being poached in a chemical bath and baked.
Cheese Spread (Obatzda): A cheese dip made from soft cheeses, butter, beer, caraway seed, and paprika.
Rotkohl: red cabbage braised with sugar and vinegar and spiced with clove, bay leaf, and coriander.
Potato Salad: Simmered potatoes tossed with a dressing made from bacon drippings, onions, sugar and vinegar.
Bratwurst: traditional German sausage made from pork with many different spices
Schweinshaxe: A pork roast that still has the skin attached which gets puffed up and super crispy after baking. Served with a beer-based sauce.
