@@Michael-in6jh they all squeak, and they need lots of grease and mine wore out quite quick. I’ve replaced the bushings and the delta joint in three years. You give up some of that city boy feel for sure.
I currently have -1 camber on both sides of my front suspension. I would like to get it to .2-.4….2012 raptor….camber bolts on bottom are maxed out to reduce camber. I still need around 1/2 to 3/4 of a degree. Will the billet aluminum adjustable control arm be able to give additional camber to correct my negative camber and get me within oem specs?
My delta UCA squeaks. I don’t understand why? I use it as a daily driver. It’s very embarrassing driving a $60,000 vehicle that squeaks. Please tell me why?
Total Chaos arms are made from 4130 tubing not DOM. The Total Chaos arms also use a 100% stainless uniball, race and misalignment spacers. The delta joint is good but it’s literally a ball joint minus a boot. Also the Icon parts are not 100% US made like Total Chaos.
U can replace the bushings and also the actual delta joint. I have the Delta joint upper control arms and I grease them regularly. Haven't had to replace anything yet and I have 50k+ miles on them
Bmw e60 2006 model rear & front multi link suspension arms with press in ball joints? Bmw only sell complete arm but not ball joints that can be replaced & bushings i want arms where bushings & balljoint can be replaced once worn out & not replace whole arm every time very expensive
@@stage3motorsports Wish anyone would cover greasing these successfully. I have a pair of the Billet UCA'S and I follow Icons Video on greasing remove cap, insert grease gun fitting since its an inverted fitting using a needle adapter while car is sitting at ride height. I wrote icon in comments on their video on how to and they replied with a phone number. which I didn't have a pen at the time and went back to the video and they removed my comment all together? So I commented what I just wrote that I never got the phone number. now no reply so I now have a 2018 Squeaky As F@*$ 4runner and its sound like I'm driving a 73 F-150 super frustrating. Fork out all the money for my Stage 5 Billet pain in the butt. and their are no manuals telling people what happens to shocks if you don't use them the right way either. meaning I purchased long travel shocks and haven't had a chance to even go off road and because of that the seal went bad and my right rear shock now needs to be rebuilt as it has no fluid in it. any advice appreciated since you had em on your channel. thanks again
@@ronburgundy2491 any luck on this because?????.im.looking to buy stage 3 adjustable 0-3.5 lift with billet uca. But not gonna if it's a issue plus customer service???
I really want to buy the Icon Billet style UCA for my Tacoma but because it has a heim joint people say its more noisy and transfers vibration, is this true and if so does this damage the truck over time in any way?
From what I have read. These are made for racing, noisy not sure but vibration yes, it is so you can feel every action on your front wheels and adjust your driving and steering reaction faster. Correct me if I read this wrong.
Anyone else think Scott sounds like Kal El walking us through Kryptonian technology that he has brought to earth? Legend.
We need some of these for the 1997 -03 & 04 heritage F-150’s! I’d buy them on a heartbeat
Ordered mine last week. Love the arms and they drive very well!
You still recommend the icon Tubular delta joint arms ? They don’t squeak too much ?

Just picked up this UCA for my 4R. Pretty pumped, also stoked for less maintenance. Lol

This is what I was afraid of, did you ever figure out how to stop the squeak ?
How do these compare to the ones made by Total Chaous?

For a 3" lift on a 3rd gen tacoma, which do you is recommended?
Do you carry upper ball joints for this type of control arms
Or you have to throw the whole upper control arm away when the ball joint goes bad?
All the wear parts are replaceable. That's one of the best things about it.

yes you can

Icons billet really worth the money over the Tubulars? I’ve been quoted $500 more if I go with the Billets.
If you plan to jump your vehicle I'd say it's worth it

are the ball joints replaceable?
Yes. They are. But in the video they are talking about delta joint which is a different animal and they can be swapped out as well.
