I'll never understand why the song ends in the best part, starting from 3:00. Randy could keep making his solo for at least 2 more minutes, making a total of 5:00.
Always come back to this great video. I really like Rudy Sarzo's sound and tone. That big old Peavey sure sounds nice = great work! 😊😊 edit: it was actually Bob Daisley - Sarzo was the player on stage when I saw Ozzy
Saturday morning 9:30 in my office and work and I get notice that you uploaded a new video. I was excited. Than I see it's an Ozzy song. I quickly say out loud, "is he fuc*in crazy? Quickest way to get get a strike". I then read your comment and laugh out loud :) 3:00 you really start cooking. Great playing once again. Thanks for sharing with us.
+Constantine Isslamow Haha. Yeah, with certain artists, you can predict a blockage or a strike from a mile away. Supertramp and Ozzy are the absolute worst. I actually get nervous for you sometimes when you post multiple covers in such a short span of time. Have you noticed that more content owners are allowing your videos to play and monetizing them for themselves? I think that's great for both parties. Thanks for stopping by.
TJH3113 Since when Ozzy's songs have been shutdown from youtube? a few years ago, like '09, 2010, I was a big fan of Ozz and we could find all his songs uploaded on youtube. Now It's impossible to find even videoclips...
Lol . Started with a Kay bass also, bought some dimarzio pick ups and put in it... then later bought a Washburn both played on Sun 18" cabinet w ampeg head. Kay looked like Angus young guitar..
+JimmyJames714 Thanks Jim. My initial dispute will hold for 4 or 5 days, then comes the block and strike. After that, a formal counter dispute takes 10-14 days to clear. That's when you give all your personal info and the content holder has to decide if they really want to drag you into court. Hey, while we're here...you wouldn't help me out with a concert pitch copy of Bark At The Moon would you?
+TJH3113 Anytime Troy. My fave on that album is "Centre of Eternity" I wish youtube would figure out a way to monetize these things so the original artists get something. Most of us are doing these covers 'cause they're songs we love, and to show how fun it is to play an instrument. {and maybe show off a bit} We're not trying to infringe on anyone's property. I for one wouldn't mind an ad on one of my vids. I would think the extra exposure would be good for the artist. I'd heard the title "Hedwig & the Angry Inch", but didn't know what it was until you posted a cover. Then I went and check it out. {some cool music, btw} Does anyone under 40 even know who the hell Supertramp is? Sorry for the rant. Preachin' to the choir, I know :)
+JimmyJames714 I remember that one too. Actually, I'm seeing more and more of my videos being monetized by the content owners, just as it should be. Did I cover something off of Hedwig? My god, I hope not because I don't have any recollection of it. I really do love the soundtrack and Lynn and I went to see it twice when it was on Broadway last year. Michael C. Hall (Dexter) played the title role and was fantastic. It was actually more concert than play, but that was fine. I beat Roger "Supertramp" Hodgkins into the ground. It took some time and around a dozen disputes but he backed off...for now anyway. Unfortunately, I have another ELO cover sitting around and my last one was pretty tough as well. I'll hold off on posting that one until I have nothing better to do.
+TJH3113 You're right. Now that you mention it, I think it was a friend of yours who did the Hedwig cover. That part about Roger Hodgkins cracked me up. I'll be asking you for advice when the day comes that I get a strike. About a month ago I noticed that my cover of The Wind Cries Mary was "banned worldwide". I guess Jimi's relatives are trying to squeeze all that they can. Beatles covers are the same way too now it seems. I didn't feel like messing with it, so I just deleted the video.
Clearly, this is a better transcription than most on RUclips….Ive played6 strings for years but the bass is a bit new to me…This is on my band’s track list so I am grateful and truly appreciate a solid transcribe…..thanks!

Yikes! Never knew this song had such a fast moving bass line at the end of the song... The mixing of these early Ozzy albums always favored the guitar, so it was hard to really hear the bass. It's great to finally hear these bass lines clearly... Thanks!
+situationmoney There's a actually a few more notes than I'm playing. I believe Bob played with a pick most of the time, pretty quickly, but his tone didn't really give any indication of that. To my ears, his bass tone had a lot of prominent low mids and usually sat pretty nicely in the mix.
Love this cover Troy. Huge Ozzy fan for as long as I can remember. I have a little something in common with Ozzy and Bob Daisley. Ozzy, Lead vocals for Sabbath. You got a strike or youtube just notified you they are monetizing it over the copy right? I get that too and I don't understand why they target these cover videos when you can go look at videos that have nothing but the original music up for the world to see. Also don't get it when say I own the CD, am not making money off it. If I played in front of my friends rather then the camera and a few friends would watch me play in the 80's no one cared so long as I owned the CD and was not charging them. Should be no different here. The Kicker is, write the copyright holders and ask permission, they ignore you.

what is the model of that bass?
its a Peavey T-40, 25-40 yrs old.
Daisley is also an amazing lyricist.
What Is Left Most definitely!
It'd be awesome if you did the lemon song by Zeppelin
+Allen Garcia Maybe one of these days.
Great , more ozzy please 👍🏻
What are those pickups?
+Jake Middleton Stock T40's
You got a strike or youtube just notified you they are monetizing it over the copy right? I get that too and I don't understand why they target these cover videos when you can go look at videos that have nothing but the original music up for the world to see. Also don't get it when say I own the CD, am not making money off it. If I played in front of my friends rather then the camera and a few friends would watch me play in the 80's no one cared so long as I owned the CD and was not charging them. Should be no different here. The Kicker is, write the copyright holders and ask permission, they ignore you.
What were your settings on the T40 for this one?
S.A.T.O please
man i miss my T40 at times,,
Not me. That thing weighed a ton and had a 2x4 for a neck. Great sounding bass though. The ultimate in versatility.
I love that you have my Ex-Mother-in-law's face on your wall, right above your E-string tuning peg.
I hope it didn't bring back any bad memories.
@@TJH3113 Fortunately no. I love the way you play! I watch you to help me learn songs for my band. I wish I was remotely as good as you are! Thanks for posting these videos. (I also love the masks)

Meanwhile in Braavos, at the House of Black and White, Jaqen H'ghar...or...well..."no one" plays bass. "A man" chooses a wise face among so many. Valar more-bassis!
Very interesting.
@@TJH3113 Its a game of so many pretenders milord, but I pledge allegiance to your grace's name.
Nice t-40 ;)
Thanks.
I notice you aren't standing up with it. That's well-considered.
Actually, both my Aria Pro II’s and the Wal basses were heavier than this one.
if you banged the top of the bass like Rudy does then this would be a perfect vid.
rudy sarzo didn¨t create this song, bob daisley did it ,,on blizzardof ozz-1980-
