I LOVE your tomato tasting videos! I really appreciate that you get right to the point and don’t add unnecessary filler and that you don’t use salt when you taste (something that earns an immediate thumbs down from me and a permanent shunning lol). I also like that you film mostly in your beautiful garden. You are a tomato gardener’s inspiration!

You up north and short season really might enjoy getting slicers early July and Black Krim is my early pick
Mine was July 6 and my other suggestion is Thornbury Terracotta which is delicious but I prefer for salads expressly for Spanish dishes. Black Krim for burgers and BLT both start early and very productive all season til frost.
    Thanks

There's tomatoes, hot peppers, onions, AND cilantro in the garden. We even have huge pumpkins and decorative ones too. Zucchinis every day, cukes ... and of course tomatoes all day long. Only sad thing for my zone is this will all end in about 4 weeks, other than my winter veggie garden (rutabaga, daikon, kale, cabbage, etc.).

@@bloomandwiltgardens I see BC doesn't carry them now. Darn. I saw the Wild Boar site, but they're smaller sized tomatoes 2-4 oz. Sometimes a new strain will gradually migrate larger over the generations if one of the parents is large so different sites that grow out cultivars can be a slightly different strain. My breedings migrate larger through the generations. Yours looks bigger than the WB site, like maybe 5-6 oz, so I thought I'd ask. I was looking for a bigger Indigo Apple like yours. Thank you for the info. I appreciate it.

Sorry I didn’t realize they weren’t selling anymore on Baker Creek.
You make a good point though, my indigo apples were grown from seeds I saved from my 2020 planting. So it’s possible there was some genetic variation there resulting in a bigger fruit!
