This moisturizer stings my skin as well as most “barrier repair” moisturizers. I read somewhere that a specific ceramide or peptide might be the issue, but at last my skin only feels soothed with a gel moisturizer or straight up petroleum jelly.

hi! please reply!! I heard it has 0.01 retinol in it. Is it okey to wear for am routine? as i am skin of colour, i am afraid it will make my skin darker

It should not make your skin darker. Just be very diligent with SPF use.
I’ve used otc retinols during the day and my skin has been okay. Just make sure you wear your SPF, rain or shine.
