I'm at 550 rounds through my 920X. It didn't start great for mine. The extractor was too tight out of the box. Tried to get SS to send me an extractor, but they wanted me to send the gun in. So, I just bought an extractor from their website. Slapped it in, zero issues since then. Got two additional mags in the mail this week, getting ready to send a lot of lead down range this week!
Thanks for your honest review on this CR920X. I am no longer hesitant to purchase now with your review. Keep up the great videos. Stay cool in this heat wave.😅
@@muddyrivertactical new news ! Shot 200 rounds today and when I was down to 4 or 5 rounds left the slide would stayed locked back. I was using the same ammunition as the first 400 rounds so I’m a bit worried now
@@andrewcramer7214 not sure if it's just the mag release or not, but I think the sootch video he tried swapping and neither worked either way. Shadow systems has also said they aren't compatible
I’d encourage anyone on the fence about the Shadow Systems lineup to go ahead and take the plunge. I own 2 of the ported models and they were worthy purchases. They have a better than stock Glock triggers, and the triggers get better as you roll past 500rds. You can’t buy a Glock and bring it up to a Shadow Systems standard and spend less money. Customer support is excellent as well.
You got to remember that any of us only have a sample of one. Just because mine has been flawless unfortunately doesn’t mean they all will be and vice versa with his bad experience. I’m still really enjoying mine personally
@@muddyrivertactical I completely understand I just didn’t like how they tried to make it seem like a bad gun in general. All guns manufacturers have some lemons in the batch.
The CR920 platform does not run. You'll hear lots of "mine has been 100%, except for the first three hundred rounds, or the six times that I held it wrong, or the eight times that I bought bad ammo, or the sixteen times that I didn't clean it between range sessions, or...etc.". If you need a pistol this size to protect your life, buy a Glock 43, 43X, or 48. Shadow System pistols are Gucci range toys. This, my friends, is an HONEST review from a guy that owns multiple SS pistols and has actually put 1000s of rounds through them while running drills on a timer. You are better off carrying a single-action wheel gun. Truth. Ever had a semi auto pistol choke 1/2 way through a Bill Drill? Buy a SS pistol and you will. Try it and see.
I’ve had issues with it early on, FTEs, even with 124gr nato and 124 gr +p. I’ve got about I’ve got about 600rnds in it now and a Herrington Arms comp with Glock 43x threaded barrel and it runs like a champ

You realize quickly you are getting old and out of shape out there 🤣
What ammo did you use ?
Great video. I’m still sitting on the fence.
The only thing wrong with your gun is it’s for lefties 😂.
I did just pick up a fuse though 👊🏻
Thanks for watching!
I’m at 400 rounds and it has been flawless .
Great to hear others are having same luck. Thanks for watching!

@@Fantom_axgsorry to hear. I’ve see a few others with similar issues, please keep us posted. Hopefully SS will get these fixed.
At 250 rounds in. First 3-4 magazines were rough. Been good since

@@muddyrivertactical what rail is on the cr920x? I got a tlr7x and a sub and both don’t fit
do the shadow systems mags fit in a glock?
Unfortunately no
@@TheMikeshannon im surprised. They are dimensionally thinner and narrower, are they too short?

I disagree.
@@actraveler8309please explain why that is
I saw someone make a video of how unreliable the Cr920x was 🤔. I was hoping it was just his gun
