For me, an app with more connectivity in my country is better for me. WhatsApp is most famous in India. Don't know about other parts of the world.
WhatsApp is popular, pretty much everywhere except The US and a bunch of other countries. In Europe, I guess WhatsApp is quite popular. Same with majority of Asian Countries as well.

Why? Nobody uses google messages, other than to receive security codes for example. The whole world, other than farenheit country, uses whatsapp, which is 100 times better

What I see is Imessage is outdated (even with all New feature) . Why? Because you only messaaging only on apple device. While whatsapp can reach anyone. It is like if you start with Imessage, you will know that your friend or your other member maybe will not have apple device. So you is limiting your self from the start

Someone already sent a similar reply to this. There is an option available now you can now set the quality in WhatsApp. I think they added this feature in 2022.
There's an hd option in whatsapp now, for sending media...That gives flexibility to the users storage ...

Whatsapp is less safe in terms of privacy than iMessage. Whatsapp is more popular in Europe therefore more used and iMessage in the US

Both have end to end encryption, that's a very lame excuse....to talk about security as the key feature..

I don’t use facebook at all but I’m getting friend recommendations and its people that I’ve been talking to on WhatsApp. There is no way to find out me and that person on WhatsApp no each other UNLESS they’re reading your iMessage chats
@@tanakacharamba3238In Imessage, the messages are only end-to-end encrypted if the other person is also using Imessage (IOS device). But if you text an android from Imessage, it renders the messages as sms/mms messages which aren't end-to-end encrypted.

@@tanakacharamba3238when you send photos. Sending photos on whatsapp degrades quality. Facetime can have up to 32 people in a call. Simplicity. Whatsapp is good but imessage must makes things easier
