For bad windage issues, call the CMP Customer Service. One of my M1s shot way left. Luckily, I’m close to Anniston. I brought the rifle back and they fixed it right up no problem.
Very interested in getting in on the Arizona CMP matches, earned my CMP marks badge senior year high school in 2012. Recently got medically discharged from navy and want in again on these types of tourneys, was trained by one of the very best retired army RASP ranger turned teacher, I’ll come back here if I ever make him proud here in the future 🙏🏽
You should! The "games" matches are pretty wide open in what division you can shoot, including "modern military" which would be your best bang for the buck with a 223/5.56 Service Rifle ss there are tons of Matches within the CMP AND NRA for those. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, we did that but there was very little travel and it made VERY little difference. It's with the CMP Amorers and Custom Shop now. Hopefully they'll get it straightened out. Thanks for watching!
@@phonebone69 could have been. CMP Custom Shop finally took it out and fired. They put another new Criterion barrel on and a new Front Sight. Waiting to hear how that test firing went.
@@CrustyOldMarine Glad to hear it ! Most certainly something wrong if your windage is maxed out and your front sight is going off the gas cylinder dovetail. Good shooting !

I'm sure one of the 'missing' comments is "Move your front sight to the left"...FWIW
