Since I'm a year late.. my first car was an 85 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme in the color white with rust lowlights and dent highlights, it was 3 years older than me, the car also had NO reverse and all the gauges/seat belts didn't work. I drove it for 2 years. Fun times🤣
So beautiful Brandy !!! I was in a bad car accident years ago that ended my business I use to paint houses a lot of a cent walls faux finish marble look Venetian plaster. Anyways I love painting .I have metal in my neck and now can move my arms and have no pain in hands .my neck hurts and shoulders still but I am starting to paint small stuff ❤ watching you inspires me so thank you
Hi, I’m a newbie chalk paint user, I really like Dixie belle and just ordered about $100 worth of there paint (I got 4 colors & Boss). I’m so Excited! You make this look so easy. I like that color you’re using ITS SO BOLD, PRETTY and SCARY! I’m a neutral color gal, but I’m venturing out to ANTEBELLUM BLUE ish? I hope it looks as great as the color on those tables. Your are so talented and I like your laid-back style. Keep painting!!!!!
I,m sorry didn,t hear a word you said, was too busy looking at the dog.Adorable!!, Have seen her in another video now all grown up. I learn a lot from you thanks, greetings from The Netherlands Brandy
Love the colors! My dad “won” my first car in a poker game. It was about a ‘52 Ford, dark green with a black hood and baby blue doors with rust spots! Just what every 16 year old girl wants to drive to high school!! It was also s 3 on the tree with linkage issues - if I put it in reverse it would not go into 1st. I parked where I didn’t need to back out and took off in 2nd!! It was a gem but it was get me where I needed to go! The first car I bought new was a ‘68 Camaro in Grecian Green - I drove it 15 years. 💗💗
I so enjoy your tutorials! I watched them over and over again so I can paint from memory using your methods. Listing your color combinations is of great help for those of us who just can't seem to get the hues right. You make it look so easy! I think you and Sean make a great team doing the videos! I'll be watching every Thursday night. I always learn something new. Thank you for sharing your paint expertise! Blessings Jill
Thank you, Brandy! Showing not only the new colours but the metallics 💕🇨🇦. I thought metallics were used for adding details to small areas... but you’ve just shown how much detail can be added to the legs! For the punch of colour! Awesome technique! Really appreciate the time & effort you’ve taken to share and showcase DB paint.
Beautiful finish, Brandy! I just wish we could get hold of Dixie Belle in the UK. Always enjoy your videos and learn so much, thank you! Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
I come here to see about this phenomenal paint - my new love btw however, I am good to just watch Ginger play all day😜 I work in dog rescue so I have ALOT of furniture that needs redone simply due to those little puppy shark teeth😂 Back to the paint, I have about 20 colors of Dixie Belle that I am going to buy this week (I’m afraid I am going to run out of stuff to paint because this is definitely my new addiction❤️ I love everything I have seen that you have painted Brandy, you are so talented.
Brandy you are amazing, I can’t stop watching your videos. As a beginner, what do you think I need to buy initially, paint & product wise. Thx Julie UK
Hi Brandy! So I am very new to painting furniture, but am really having a blast learning. So I have already painted on old dresser in a beautiful dark teal that was not chalk paint. My goal is to repaint another old dresser in my bedroom with chalk paint so I can blend colors. I'm looking for another teal (antebellum is beautiful), but I want to blend with a dark violet. I was hoping that you could give me some advice on how achieve this color combo. By mixing 2 colors of DB paint or 2 separate colors from DB. I would be very thankful for any advice you can give me.
I went to your etsy page to grab a set of "rollee thingees" to put my pieces on, but there was nothing there. Can u please send me the link? THANKS! Love all your work, I have binge watched all your videos, and I'm starting my first piece!
The casters are great, are we able to purchase them in the UK . Love your work also the paint you are using, I have never seen this product in the UK. Love Jeany XX
I was inspired to take on a roll top desk after watching the video from 2 years ago. I bought 200 + worth of Dixie belle paint and brushes and was sooo disappointed in the brushes. They both broke the first time I used them. The retailer replaced them with a different style that I don’t need because the whole no return policy. Do you recommend any other brush brands?
I dont know if I have this right, with chalk paint I can just pain over other paints? After cleaning the piece. The I have to prime my furniture before paint?
First car was a 1972 Opal GT sports car. Dixiebelle Amethyst would be the closest colour to its colour. I still have the car as it’s an antique. The only thing I wish you would do is show what they looked like completely finished.
I would like to be the rep for Dixie Bell here in Puerto Rico. There are no people doing spanish language videos or representing the company here or in other spanish speaking communities. What do I have to do to make it happen? I have many years of furniture making and refurbishing under my belt and ran a company with my dad for 25 years. My grandfather was a famous antiques dealer and had an antiques refurbishing shop as a direct result of this. I guess furniture making and flipping runs in my blood. Personally I have a BA in Visual Arts and am a certified Visual Arts Teacher and also a certified bilingual teacher. I am hoping to make it all work for me and for Dixie Bell. Suggestions???
@@BrushedbyBrandy Don't get me wrong. I watched the whole thing. So I guess I got a little anticipatory and emotionally invested in the beautiful art you were creating. Didnt mean to offend.

My childhood dogs name was ginger. ❤️
Why the antebellum looks so much darker on the website?
The colors can look different on screens and in different lighting. Its a deep teal blue with green undertones
what happened to showing the finished product at the end of the video?
These are teaching videos recorded from live broadcasts, finished pieces are posted to all of my social media pages
