WHEN YOU WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT STICKY DOORS/DRAWERS, IT REMINDED ME OF WHAT MY MOTHER USED TO DO IF A DRAWER WAS STUCKY. SHE WOULD RUB A BAR OF DRY SOAP TO WHAT EVER WAS STUCKING. THERE ARE BETTER THINGS TO USE NOW, BUT BACK IN THE 40'S, THAT'S WHAT SHE USED TO DO. IT'S LIKELY SOMETHING SHE LEARNED DURING THE DEPRESSION. MY GRANDPA WAS A CARPENTER WHO LIKELY SHOWED IT TO HER, OR SHE WATCHED HIM DO IT.
Hey Brandy ur the Best at this type of working colors.Watched others yet no reason to they do not have ur style an flare.Keep up the Great job.Love ur family.
I love this! Now I know what to do with my tv cabinet! I love your down to earth, not intimidating videos. Keep on keeping it real 🌻 all these Instagram “perfect house, perfect makeup, perfect hair” women are getting on my nerves and make me feel like crap. You are like watching a friend who loves to make pretty things that I can have my paint shirt on with.
Love you creativity...your pleasant, kind, humble spirit. Congratulations on you guy anniversary! Your Husban sounds delightful- you guys know to have laughter and sense of humor! I have learned so much from you- thank you for sharing your thinking process picking color and finish! Please tell me more of that. I still get nervous about that! Wish you only blessing!
I'm as southern as it gets & I love the names! In fact, that's one of the reasons I wanted to try the paint. lol Love your work. It's so inspirational! ;-)
@@BrushedbyBrandy Really Brandy, how do you keep humble lol Oh ya saw the plop of paint and I was like, Yes, she has oopses too! Don't edit out mishaps, I love seeing you make the perfect!!!
I am from South Carolina. Next Dixie Belle color needs to be named with the word "Y'all" in it. Maybe like a creamy yellow with a touch of brown called "grits yall " LOL
Love watching you paint you are an inspiration for me to get well and do some of my own painting but I do have to admit the the door knocking is very annoying
Brandy please help. I took a lot of time and had a plan. Straight to the question... I’m so disappointed and need to begin again. I painted with dixie bell “dark” purple. Can I use “gator hide” to seal and go back and paint with lighter colors????? I’m painting in my garage which has been so hot 90 plus degrees and my paint is drying so fast, I then spray with a little water and destroyed my beautiful blending / shading.
Brandy, do you always do just the one coat when doing this technique? Are there any instances where you would do an overall base coat before beginning using your blending colours?

It's winter in Australia.

Nice Blending, as always! Great video.....I've been uploading this week too! LOL
I’m from North Carolina. Do y’all know what ‘Sawmill Gravy’ is? Just wondering. LOL 😄
Is it best to find 3 coordinating colors that are very close to each other?
Yes, similar colors are easier to blend than colors further apart on the color wheel
Do you have an Etsy or Shopify store or just Amazon?
