- ET has learned Michael B. Jordan is having a difficult time following the tragic death of his friend and 'Black Panther' co-star, Chadwick Boseman. The ‘42’ star died last week following a private, 4-year-long battle with colon cancer. Following the news of his death, some of his Marvel co-stars, including Angela Bassett and Sterling K. Brown, paid tribute to the late star on social media.

Same man . Seeing him in his interviews , you can tell how positive, humble and empathetic , and real he was . It always felt authentic too, never like he was forcing it . I had buddies who worked on a set of black panther and always said he was so respectful of everybody on set , even the extras.

They must have been super close. Only such friends will find it really hard to convey feelings about a friendship that is deep. It is easy to offer condolences when you are not deeply connected to people. It is the really close people who are so broken they cannot do it easily. The weight of loosing a close friend makes you lifeless drained and almost dead. That is the truth.

Hey Michael, I feel your pain. I understand that you may be struggling. Your brother is gone, but I feel he loved you and I know you will treasure the time you guys had together, but more than that I know you will take it to the next level showing him how much you learned from your brother and share it with the world.

As a fan, I was so devastated and shocked by his death that I cried for hours. But he wasn't just a fan of Chadwick, he was his friend so I can't even begin to imagine how hard this must be for him. We can't expect him to post or say something straight away, his silence is his pain and everyone experiences and processes pain differently. Some may "recover" (I'm not quite sure how to word it) quickly whereas others may take a lot longer. And it hasn't just been Michael that's been silent. Letitia's also been very quiet and I'm sure many others are as well. Chadwick was like a brother to them so of course their pain would be greater. They shouldn't feel pressured to say something so soon if they feel like they can't.

Black Panther is in my top 3 of favorites in the Avengers Saga (sorry to say, but Dr. Strange is nr. 1, but he's like my favorite Marvel hero). Jenna Denjern you can know someone for 50 years doesn’t mean you know everything about them. Chadwick’s whole family and I am sure other people in his camp knew but no one said anything because perhaps Chadwick didn’t want to be treated any different or like a charity case. He stayed humble & grounded which is very rare in Hollywood or any industry for that matter. I don’t believe he knew. But if he did know, maybe he was praying and hoping that he would win the battle so it still was a shock to him.

It’s crazy how Chadwick probably felt like he had to keep it from everyone outside his family, otherwise the whole world would’ve known, and he wouldn’t have been able to go in peace. Since he touched so many lives, I’m sure the numerous people who felt close to him personally are so pained that they couldn’t say goodbye. After watching black panther wakanda forever forever trailer. There was a rush of emotions coming back to me of the sadness of sudden death and we still can't get over the fact he is not among us. He battled cancer without anyone knowing. Rest in peace king. We will miss you.

Yeah absolutely bo shade but Blade was the sh!t for me groing up. He even reminded me of my father from his looks. But people like to forget becaus he was fighting Vampires and also because Snipes did that tax thing. But I don't care I loved the first Blade movie but I really did enjoy all three of them. I mean he met the First of "his" kind, outsmarted and killed him and I watched "New" Spiderman cartoon where he was also in...Evem though they did make him lighter in the series than in the comics....(no hate I'm lightskinned too, but characters should be portrayed as they are not whitewashed or whatever)
He looked so tired and not one of us took his life being at risk as the reason. We all thought "ah maybe he just worked extra hard today" or "maybe he's just not really down for this appearance today" but he was dying and not once showed us that fear.
You are and will forever be the original one and only Black Panther. Rest in Peace, Chadwick. You chose to rather find peace in silence than suffer in speech... and it's strength I don't think most of us would've had.

The death of Chadwick has rocked me to the core. I am currently battling colon cancer stage 3 the same thing he started out being diagnosed with. For people suffering with this kind of cancer reaching the 5 year mark is a struggle. Knowing this...he was more than a brother to me. But I'm glad he did stuff the way he wanted to do things.

He was only an actor that played the part of a hero that I saw from my movie theatre chair and made my two and a bit hours fun, exciting and good.
And when I left that theatre I felt good about the world.
He and his Co-stars communicated that.
Now knowing that all the time he was fighting this Cancer.
I now know he was a real superhero.
