AFL Life Achievement Award.... seems like something you would get AFTER you quit acting. Denzel is a fantastic actor. He makes you hate him, he makes you love him, he pulls emotions out of you as you sit in your chair about whatever roll he's playing. The first roll I remember seeing him in was Glory, and no one can forget the flogging scene. There have been countless rolls since, and I look forward to the rolls yet to come. Yet his life as an actor is not yet complete.

The sheer admiration and respect that Denzel shows to Morgan Freeman via his facial expressions and body language says it all. He was literally captivated and hanging on his every word. Morgan Freeman could recite the alphabet forwards and backwards to a packed ballroom and make it sound utterly interesting.
Denzel shows everyone respect. I've noticed that in all of his interviews, he never takes his eyes off a person speaking to him. Never. He doesn't do that thing where he looks over their shoulder or behind him (Al Pacino does that a lot), even when in a red carpet interview.
Morgan Freeman and James Earl Jones are 2 of my most favorite actors. Denzel is also a favorite actor. We are gifted with these remarkable men.
