Yet his life as an actor is not yet complete.
The sheer admiration and respect that Denzel shows to Morgan Freeman via his facial expressions and body language says it all. He was literally captivated and hanging on his every word. Morgan Freeman could recite the alphabet forwards and backwards to a packed ballroom and make it sound utterly interesting.
Denzel shows everyone respect. I've noticed that in all of his interviews, he never takes his eyes off a person speaking to him. Never. He doesn't do that thing where he looks over their shoulder or behind him (Al Pacino does that a lot), even when in a red carpet interview.
I am very proud and honoured to have lived in the time of Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington. I feel blessed and wiser everytime I listen to them speak. They ooze very rare wisdom, class and charisma everytime, effortlessly.

As an actor, Denzel is brilliant. As a man, he seems even more so.
My wife, and I met him in a restaurant about 4 yrs ago, he was an honorable person to talk to.

The actor Denzel Washington might be good, but he is not a great person. I worked with him on Man On Fire, and as a person he left much to be desired, to clarify, the staff all yelled insults at him the day he left.

AFL Life Achievement Award.... seems like something you would get AFTER you quit acting. Denzel is a fantastic actor. He makes you hate him, he makes you love him, he pulls emotions out of you as you sit in your chair about whatever roll he's playing. The first roll I remember seeing him in was Glory, and no one can forget the flogging scene. There have been countless rolls since, and I look forward to the rolls yet to come. Yet his life as an actor is not yet complete.

The sheer admiration and respect that Denzel shows to Morgan Freeman via his facial expressions and body language says it all. He was literally captivated and hanging on his every word. Morgan Freeman could recite the alphabet forwards and backwards to a packed ballroom and make it sound utterly interesting.
Denzel shows everyone respect. I've noticed that in all of his interviews, he never takes his eyes off a person speaking to him. Never. He doesn't do that thing where he looks over their shoulder or behind him (Al Pacino does that a lot), even when in a red carpet interview.

I am very proud and honoured to have lived in the time of Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington. I feel blessed and wiser everytime I listen to them speak. They ooze very rare wisdom, class and charisma everytime, effortlessly.
