I have a few close relatives of mine, who are of your age group moved to UK and Canada post 2020. They all are going through the same experiences as you are as they too have young kids and debt to be settled back home. After few years of struggles they are gradually regaining financial security. One of my nieces bought a house within two years of reaching UK as they don't have liabilities back home.
The major point is the cooperation of the husbands in running errands and financial discipline of the family.
