Just a reminder that the household income is so much lower than that in the USA. Much of what you showed even if it sounds in expensive for us, it’s still expensive for the common household income of Honduras.
Canada's prices in USD $5.56 USD container of grapes $6.35 USD Pineapple $3.99 2L of 2% milk $5.75 2-4 lbs of oranges $4.48 for small watermelon $1.99/lb brussel sprouts or broccoli
Bro you visited the most expensive supermarket in Honduras, you should go to Medina Market, there is where We struggling people use to go, not that one where you're in.
peace and good: Shing, thanks for the information, sometimes the stores do not appreciate that people like you make those videos, which are very informative for people who travel and it is very important to know the price of things to make a budget, best regards from Massachusetts .
That's our local LA Colonia!! 🥰 That's where we do the majority of our grocery shopping. We've done video in that store a few times on FB live with my family and they've never said anything to us. To be fair, we're usually in the middle of purchasing copius amounts of food for them to stock up because I cook for everyone when I'm in country. We often stop at the coffee shop across the street, then get our groceries. The pricing is higher there than some other supermarkets in Progreso, but they have a bigger selection of things that we would recognize as US citizens.

I wonder how the majority of people manage to eat. Overall prices are similar to the US. When a 1 lb of beans and rice cost about the same as it cost here, salaries are meager, and work scarce, it makes me sad. Especially for people in the cities, who do not know how to grow their own food. I am crying for my homeland.
Hello Shin. Probably you don’t remember the prices in the USA, or never went to market buy produce, some price are higher here than Honduras, some are cheaper, but at least they have merchandise and toilet paper not like Cuba and Venezuela. Good video
