Hi Paul, I remember seeing the Devon at the Drags at Long Marston quite a few years ago. I heard you coming before you came into view, it was good to see it out and being used... 😁
Much of that is the original surface from the pre-war years. It's called patina and therefore not to be merely covered over. It is after all a historic site, not a make believe.

that was one heck of a travel for both of ya to surrey as u live in east sussex.
It was a 250 mile round trip. Went to Newbury on Friday for Wheelsday then Brooklands on Saturday... 🙂

@@jamest4825 yes i understand that, They could at least fill the big holes with gravel or put steel sheets over them temporarily.
