There are countless examples in history that the Wehrmact performed the same atrocities as SS did. In Eastern Europe Wehrmact units often massacred civilians just like SS Einsatzgruppen did. And in Notrhern Africa regular Wehrmacht units arrested Jews just like in Europe, so you have an rater antiquated and totally outdated reality view I am afraid. Wehrmacht was the German army, together with the SS, Volkssturm and other units. All these had to be defeated to crussh Nazi Germany. I have family members who fought the Nazis.
