I’m good with the ryobi 2300 psi 1.2 gpm. Brushless motor. Auto on off feature. I got that one based upon your input way long ago. Thank you once again 👍🏼
You've taught me so much about detailing in the last 24 hours its remarkable. I'm never going to wash my car "normally" ever again, pressure washer it is. Especially since I just got a brand new 2024 Accord and I want to keep the paint as nice as brand new. Thanks Josh!
Still use my dewalt 2100 psi 1.2 gpm. Made a cart out of the Vulcan welding cabinet like you did in another video. Mounted the pressure washer right to the top. It’s flawless.
@Jaytex95 around the 12:50 mark he mentioned code IMJOSHV23. He said it was only valid for the first 23 people that used the code. Not sure if it's still active but worth a shot!
Love my OG Active VE56 (Active sent me a brand new unit when my first VE52 grenaded right before the 2 year mark and just about 100 hours. Love their warranty.
I have the previous DeWalt electric pressure washer got it for like 250 saw it had increased i believe. Its only 2100 psi but has been adequate w 40' tip nozzle. Beleive the design is more rugged w cage surround which i like
I love your content and your approach to testing car detailing products. Any chance you can do your thing and test the Triphene coating that is all over my fyp on TT? Thx.
i have the Adams 2.0 pressure washer and highly recommend it.... it's better than the DeWalt in every way, and you can usually wait for a 25% off sale to buy it since it's a little on the expensive side - but worth it
Josh, have you tried the Westinghouse WPX 3000e, (3000psi/1.76gpm), also the WPX3200e (3000psi/1.76) or WPX3400e (3400psi/2.0 gpm). $279$/349/$399 respectively at Home Depot or Lowes. Can't find any real tests on pressure/volume with the different nozzles. I just mainly want it for cars, and the increased volume sounds much better than the 1.1gpm stuff. Trying to eliminate the Active 2.0 because of the surging issues with the UberFlex hoses. All three claim a 13amp motor, that can't be can it?
Sheesh that thing took a dump with the active tip 😂😂 I just ordered a kranzle. It comes in tomorrow and I’m stoked! I’ve had 2 actives, they are great as well!
With this unit you don’t! It’s a standard m22x14 connection. They also make a black one now that would look really good with this! Here’s a link to it: www.amazon.com/dp/B0DHSWSNLZ/?tag=detailgreen-20
Not bad but if I am going to spend this much money I will add or double it to get the new Active 2.3 which I can not afford anyway another good video Josh
I'm in the same boat. I just want one that can give me 2 gpm at around 1100psi for just my cars. Already have a gas one. If I have a moment and spend 800-1000 dollars for one (new hoses, gun etc) my wife will have me committed.
3000 psi? That’s way too much pressure for use on a car, even taking into account the pressure drop through the discharge hose. Hopefully that unit has a regulator on it.
I have been using a Karcher 1700 for about 6 years and you can find them under $200. I would recommend upgrading the hoses and spray gun and foam cannon. If you’re looking to use it on a regular basis you might want to consider just pulling the trigger and buying the kit from Obsessed Garage. You pay more up front but you will get years of use without having to worry about upgrading anything.
Karcher 1700 (or higher): 2000 PSI, doesn't bog out with changing orifice, 1.2GPM, under 200 on Amazon. While I generally like Dewalt products, I'm going to steer VERY far away from this. This seems like a not very well engineered unit, so they slapped "professional" on the name to make up for it with marketing.
It's the same bullshit PW for the home gamer but in Yellow cladding and DeFalt logo. Same 50hr plastic axial pump, same Chinesium universal motor as the Cryobi. Not skookum at all.
Yea I agree, definitely not for detailing cars. As I said if you just want high psi it gets good numbers with a seemingly good pump, but man the gpm is not good and there is no way to improve it

Hell yea, I just bought the active 2.3 with your code. Thanks!
$585 is a steal!
Where's the code!?
@Jaytex95 around the 12:50 mark he mentioned code IMJOSHV23. He said it was only valid for the first 23 people that used the code. Not sure if it's still active but worth a shot!
@@nestorjovan2479 still good.. I pulled the trigger, hope its worth the $200 plus more than the 2.0 😀
well ok these guys charged my Credit card right away I thought they would and they should when they shipped. it says we are prepping to send but...
Thanks for the discount code for the Active 2.3. I just ordered one. It was nice saving $64
Can you make a chart showing the results of the pressure washers you have tested over the years?
Absolute zero chance I would ever buy this when the Activ 2.0 exists and is cheaper.
I have the Active 2.0 and its amazing💯Surprisingly quiet too and rinsing is faster then my last ryobi washer
And you just end up tossing the stock gun, hose etc.
@@legacyautofocus yea like with any other washer that has crappy accessories
Love my OG Active VE56 (Active sent me a brand new unit when my first VE52 grenaded right before the 2 year mark and just about 100 hours. Love their warranty.
Yep, more compact and more gpm. I want to get one when it goes on sale
I have the previous DeWalt electric pressure washer got it for like 250 saw it had increased i believe. Its only 2100 psi but has been adequate w 40' tip nozzle. Beleive the design is more rugged w cage surround which i like
Just did preorder on the Big Boi pro. Your discount code saved me the cost of shipping. Hoping it actually shows up mid april like they claim.
Thanks Josh. Appreciate your reviews!
Second 🤙
Wow. What a beast 2800 psi!!!
Thanks for the review Josh
you bet!

Can you list what electric pressure washers you know about that have the Total Stop System, in the 2800psi to 3400psi range?
Thank Josh. I’m lovin my Active 2.0.
Sheesh that thing took a dump with the active tip 😂😂 I just ordered a kranzle. It comes in tomorrow and I’m stoked! I’ve had 2 actives, they are great as well!
I just got the 1800 ryobi and it's bananas how useless the hose was. Could not get it to unwind. Got the 50ft uberflex instead.
This over the 1800 psi ryobi for mobile detailing ?
It sounds quieter because its a lower frequency buzz. Its not as "irritating" to the ears and thus sounds better.
They have a 3000psi electric also, can you review that one soon?
Quick question Mr Josh 💯 I have a 1900 psi 1.2gpm green works pressure washer it’s a 13amp motor what extension cord do you recommend
Do I NEED the adapter if I go with the uberflex hose??
With this unit you don’t! It’s a standard m22x14 connection. They also make a black one now that would look really good with this! Here’s a link to it:

What is the most powerful electric power washer? Best one please.

Do you have any vids or recommendations on getting the small scratches off of the interior "chrome" plastic trim pieces
When are you doing a review on the new Dewalt 3000 PSI 1.1 GPM?? I need something powerful enough for home but also can use for vehicles.
Great video and information. Thank you for making it !
same design and power of pressure that we have in the Philippines for $80
you need calipers so you can actually measure the mm orifice sizes or your nozzles
Please review the EGO pressure washer battery powered one for $799. It’s 3,200 psi
The greenworks 3000 psi electric pressure washer is still the champ!
3000 psi? That’s way too much pressure for use on a car, even taking into account the pressure drop through the discharge hose.
Hopefully that unit has a regulator on it.
@@cgraham6 you use a bigger opening, you'll probably get more gpm at arouns 1kpsi
I don’t see one for 3000 psi being sold at Costco. They have a 2000 psi one. Btw EGO has a battery one 3200 psi for $799.
I really will only buy one when a battery powered one is at least 2,800 psi
@@cgraham6for driveway which many buy one that powerful.
Do a review on some of the units from Canpump. They seem to make high quality pumps and they have an option under $600
Do they do whole units or just the pumps?
@@imjoshv they do units as well
I'm trying to get my first pressure washer, anywhere between $100-$200. Any recommendations on the market right now?
I have been using a Karcher 1700 for about 6 years and you can find them under $200. I would recommend upgrading the hoses and spray gun and foam cannon.
If you’re looking to use it on a regular basis you might want to consider just pulling the trigger and buying the kit from Obsessed Garage. You pay more up front but you will get years of use without having to worry about upgrading anything.
Did you test GPM with the larger orifice? I wonder if a 2.0 or even 1.5 size orifice would be the sweet spot.
Seems maybe this unit is not meant for auto detailing but more for house siding and cement, basically everything other than auto.
Exactly. If you need higher psi and a seemingly good pump then this could be perfect. But not great for cars for sure
I don’t understand why these companies can’t just put a better hose out of the box. Actually I do it’s a profit thing
399.99 not bad
I love love dewalt....but this was a big miss. I love my active 2.0 way to much to give it up
That's is sad! Maybe okay to use this at a work site or just for pressure washing
Oh my Josh, what does professional mean? I don't understand.
Marketing.
Damn i feel like dewalt half assed this. They shouldve just built a cordless one , made it a little better quality to compete with the Ego
Karcher 1700 (or higher): 2000 PSI, doesn't bog out with changing orifice, 1.2GPM, under 200 on Amazon.

The perfect pressure washer for car detailing doesn't exist.
Kranzle.
Kranzle 1322ts > everything else
Made that JJC foam cannon look like a Chemical Guy's quality cannon. Yikes. I'll def pass especially since better results can be had with a Ryobi
you need to upgrade your foam cannon, you can't expect to get good results with a bad foam cannon...
Nice
Total bummer .I was expecting better results
Good review and thank you for saving me money on not purchasing this pressure washer.
I rather go with an active 2.0 instead, if Milwaukee came out with a PW it would be so much better than this $400 dewalt.
Nahhhh, I aint paying 400 for this! 🤣🤣🤣
Just bought this for 50$! lol
This thing would be an impulse buy. Hoping the Dewalt name and silly claims on the box is the snake-oil sales pitch that suckers them in.
Does this guy detail cars anymore or just RUclips for free products ?
I don't care. A good honest review is priceless.
It's the same bullshit PW for the home gamer but in Yellow cladding and DeFalt logo. Same 50hr plastic axial pump, same Chinesium universal motor as the Cryobi. Not skookum at all.

1 gpm lol
$399??? god no
I’m sorry josh not very impressed for a dewalt product 👎
Yea I agree, definitely not for detailing cars. As I said if you just want high psi it gets good numbers with a seemingly good pump, but man the gpm is not good and there is no way to improve it
The Stihl unit is a pos as well.
Everything is made of plastic now i hate that fact its a throw away society we have made for ourselves 😞
It is the poors that buy off of price. They don't care about quality or performance. Just price and claims written on the box.
DeWalt is going downhill. Basically Stanley stuff with DeWalt name on it.
first
Nice!
weak😂
"PROFESSIONAL"... active way better for the price this thing looks like cheap 💩
