- I was watching the SpongeBob Movie after a few years of having not seen it and was struck with nostalgia seeing this. (no cap) It was a weird experience seeing this intro for the first time since I was a little kid.
the fact they only used this logo once really shows that they KNEW how special this movie was
Can't say you're wrong on that one.
Right from the very start, you could tell that this movie was gonna be something that no episode or movie before or after no matter how good would be: A grand spectacle.
It was also used in the movie game though it was shortened and the music was removed. I know cause I had it on GameCube once.
(with the exception of a few GameCube games)
@@eugeneketaminekrebs3403 yeah but the movie game is still tied to the movie.
@@CrashFan03 But it wasn't used once in that case. I guess technically yeah but....
This clip always makes me cry and sends goosebumps down my skin and I don't know why. Life used to be so good
It sounds like not having a care in the world
Omg same it made me cry when I was little
It reminds me of the 2000s
The chords are very nostalgic for sure. Whoever composed this piece knew what they were doing
I’m with you bud
This intro is just as magical now as it was then.
Probably even more so now since it now holds nostalgia valu.
Absolutely quq
I'm not going to lie This is the most nostalgic part of The SpongeBob SquarePants movie

@@adamrickett8865 I gotta go with this one it's true
Every kid born around 2000 should have this sound ingrained into their memory. If you don’t, you never truly lived
2009 and everytime I hear this I fr feel the urge to start crying bro 💀
I was born in 1995 and was 9 when this movie came out. I'm almost 30 years old now and this song gives me the best feeling. Also meloncholy. It makes me miss the innocence of childhood. Such a beautiful song.😥
@@nyew_thrizzi was born in 2012 and this hits me every time it plays (I'm watching this on replay)
2011 and my eyes start wtering😭😭😭
Even as a 2010s kid, this tune has stuck with me since the beginning of time💀
God I remember being so excited to watch this movie when I was 8 back in 2004. Every time I hear this logo I'm taken right back to when I saw this in the theater.
When you lie and spell right wrong
@@THEGDARULES I can't believe I messed that up.
I know.
Me too!
I was also 8 in 2004
this intro used to make me feel weirdly emotional even as a kid. i wonder if they made it sound so powerful yet sad like this because the movie was originally supposed to be the ending of spongebob? makes it extra special that it was only ever used for this movie too tbh
Was the same for South Park too, but due to the rising popularity, it came back to what we have today
I can only imagine the energy this intro had in theaters back in 2004
I would kill to be a 6-year-old back in the year 2004 again.
Same
I was nine when that movie came out!😁😁😁😁
I was born in 99 but I remember seeing this movie several times in theaters. We were blessed to grow up with this film.
I wasn't even born in 2004
my oldest brother was born on nov (November) 9 2004
Grown man now, remember watching the intro and it just gave me tears and goosebumps. Till this day, every time I watch it... I still tear up. Such nostalgia man, I would do anything to be a kid/teenager again.
2000 nickelodeon vibes was amazing
@@jamalbradshaw8635 For real, especially from like 2002-2008 or so. It was almost magical. Seeing these old commercials and intros again makes me so happy.
This is most literally the greatest 19 seconds I've ever lived
The terrible word placement proves it was great
For some reason, I've always liked the part at 0:04 - 0:06 where the blimp flies through that flower. It sometimes gives me goosebumps
Same, it’s really pretty
Seeing this as a 2 year old really felt like the worlds most amazing 16 second acid trip.
This movie has a special place in my heart ❤️
nostalgia
remember popping in the Spongebob move on DVD and hearing this.
Oh the memories
Me too. I didn't see this in theaters unfortunately I wasn't a SpongeBob fan yet plus I probably would have been too young to go to a theater at the time
i remember the same pattern of ads playing every time.

Good way to die
Me too brother
I want everything related to this played before my eyes, like the old Xbox intro, like a few other things... And then, this for last, the best of the best.

I remember seeing the Spongebob Squarepants Movie in 2004 when it came out and it was the first movie I ever saw in a movie theater. I was 4 at the time and i'm now 22. This brings back nostalgia so much.
When life... and Nickelodeon was still good.
And still kept most of its original shows. Nowadays it's being milked dry
And suddenly I get sent right back to my old bedroom watching the Spongebob Movie on the tv
i was born in 2007 but this movie was still my whole childhood, i remember watching it at least 2 times a day and memorizing the whole script to the letter. damn time flies doesnt it.
Same, takes me back
The intro is way too short, honestly.
But still perfect.
damn
I was born in 2008, I’ve never seen this before but this does give off like a 2004 energy feel to it lol idk how to word it but it’s a masterpiece
@@Keegangodfrey08I was born in 2012 and I loved this movie
You not human if you ain’t cry to this after growing up
I was more of a fan of Cartoon Network
But still gave me nostalgia
i guess im not a human
Everytime I watch this I get a strange feeling and start to tear up but I wasn’t alive in this time period.
I feel pure joy, the year that this movie came out was my birth year, the SpongeBob movie will always be one of my favorites, I know the whole movie by heart. Everytime I see this, I feel like a kid again
Dang I just realized I was only 4 when this came out. And yet I remember staying up late with my parents to watch it for the first time. We were all so excited, I got to bring my own comfy chair into the living room, and we shared a big bowl of popcorn which was ONLY for special occasions. One of my earliest and best memories ;_;
The early 2000s were the best a had a lil left over 90s in it
I'm gonna tell my kids this was the Big Bang
This is one of the most nostalgic things for me, when I watch this I feel a little bit more connected to my child self, makes me think how much time has changed
I was born in 2009 and I grew up watching English SpongeBob on DVD. (SpongeBob was Tagalog dubbed when it aired on tv when I was young) All the memories I had watching this and the other SpongeBob episodes with my sister takes me back, and it just makes me wanna relive it again.
introduced my niece to the spongebob movie and almost cried when this intro came on. so many memories got unlocked man I miss being a kid sometimes 😢
I love this intro.

This is what childhood and nostalgia sounds like. Makes me so sad but so happy at the same time. I miss being a kid
If only there is one version of this complete music and everything and a longer version is longer 😭😭
This feels like summer in the 2000s
My dad watched this movie before i did, whenever i was watching, my dad came in and said "im a goofy goober" and i immediately asked him "wait you saw this movie already?" he said yep. it was ironic
*iconic
This gives me the chills and makes me wanna cry. Life was so good and I didn’t even know it
Even tho I was born in 2012, this gives me so much nostalgia since I was obsessed with SpongeBob as a toddler and when I saw that there was a movie of it, I watched it and loved it! When I first saw the intro, I felt nauseous cause I was motion sick but not anymore. I wish I would be a kid again. Oh god I’m tearing up
This is my favourite Nickelodeon Movies logo from The Spongebob Squarepants Movie. I also love the music for it too. Much lovely childhood memories 😊😊😊😊
This is so nostalgic, every time I watch this intro it just makes me tear up because of how much I loved this movie
This logo takes me back❤
Taken from the SpongeBob SquarePants movie 2004
It’s Says It’s Taken From Spongebob On The Title
Since Shrek 2 returned to theaters this year for the 20th anniversary, this movie needs to return to theaters too
The original end to SpongeBob
I wish we could go back to the frutiger aero times
I get so nostalgic for this movie. I used to put the disc in to my Playstation 2 and watch it on repeat. Those were the times
the movie just came on tv and they played this and I nearly cried. Such nostalgia. I was 3 years old when I saw this in theaters and I still remember it.
It was in theaters? Huh didn’t know that I mean the pirates in the opening scene had tickets but I thought it was just exclusive to Nick TV channel
@@itsfastman1782 Yeah it came out Thanksgiving 2004. They had a huge marketing campaign with books, clothes, a Burger King tie-in all sorts of stuff. It was a big deal. They were even running ads on the adult networks like frequently.
These sounds bring back so many memories from the 2000s. I was 5 years old and remembered how amazed I was finally seeing spongebob on the big screen. They played an exclusive episode before the movie started too
This song has been living rent free in my had for the last couple of weeks and I come back now to get the full scope.
Being 11 and being the biggest SpongeBob fan alive, watching this in the theater knowing that my life would be permanently changed was such a special moment in time.
*Funny little spongeman film*
Nickelodeon creating the most creative and nistogic bumper imaginable:
this intro brings back sooo many freaking memories. i really miss these days:/
Bro right now I’m ready for the SpongeBob movie to air
This is the only opening logo to actively make me cry
This clip makes me feel so nostalgic because the music and the vibrant colors shown I makes me feel sad that we don’t have movies that are fun but not realistic😢
One of the videos to add to my happy place playlist lol
The beginning of a masterpiece
I completely forgot that this intro was here
Pure, distilled nostalgia
lol ya se que eres español
Frutiger Aero Aesthetic WAS REAL WITH THIS ONE🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
You know the film’s special when you see this intro
This is the best logo ever!
Love this memories
This opening definitely feels magical
ts makes me cry 😭 i just get memories of watching spongebob and i always get goosebumps. spongebob for me and many others is a huge part of my life
I know the movie came out in 04 but I would do anything to go back to 1997-2005 that was a golden time of my life. Life’s good now but those days were special
The only logo that’s ever made me cry as an adult ngl 😭 things were so simple and fun watching this back then
Dude I really love this I also love the music
you know something special about the end of the logo is the nickelodeon logo didn't splat like normal.
they let us keep the bubble intact... like our memories of original spongebob and the good old days.
If anyone knows about that upcoming "Rehydrated" Collab of this movie, I hope they add this into it's opening . . .
They did, exactly why i came back here
Good News: they did.
This intro has stuck to me for sug a long time. It's so beautiful. The music is so good, and the animation was amazing. It made you feel hyped for the Spongebob movie
got this on loop in aquatic sciences rn too nostalgic
This is basically my favorite intro especially on Nickelodeon movie
The other video of this was removed. Thank you for this backup one.
This has the same feeling as when you come home from school and your mum makes your favourite food. Man i would do anything for this again
this clip is so magical and fantastical honestly
Best 19 seconds ever
An early example of the fruitiger aero aesthetic.
yes
This Just brought me Into Tears, I was Born 2006 and I remember My Mom dropped me off at someone's house to Take care of me and They Played this and I remember feeling Joyfulness Inside my body and Rewatching It again and again
That Intro was made specifically for this Masterpiece
Quite possibly the best opening logo in cinematic history.
man i remeber this intro and i usually dont remeber intros
this goes so hard
I agree
This logo is being a kid in the 2000s summed up.
I wish I was around in 2004 so I can see this movie (as well as Incredibles since I already watched Shrek 2 in theaters twice this year) in theaters. It just gives a more authentic feel. Back when Lazytown and Danny Phantom, Face was replaced by Piper O’ Possum, Midnight Horror School (one of my favorite shows) ended, and back when some of the 90s Nicktoons were still airing (even tho some got cancelled)
Check your local movie theaters. If you're lucky you may find a theater near you that's screening it. My local independent art house cinema just screened this movie as part of a summer family movie series. The Incredibles was also re-released in theaters nationwide last year for Disney's 100th anniversary.
@@Samuel-b I checked but so far no return, maybe they’ll return later this year since they both came out in November
I don’t know why, but this just screams “Summer!”
I am going back to college tomorrow. It terrifies me, but I am ready for change.
This intro for the movie absolutely makes me tear up all the time. It reminds me of when life felt easier. I loved staying up late with my brother watching this movie. It's funny because we both still watch it together from time to time. Anyways... I need this song as motivation sometimes. Lol
I am back crying again... life is so hard sometimes.
Guess who's watching the spongebob movie tonight! 🤚
I came back! At the hospital bcuz of my bro. Wasting time on youtube.
i cant explain my love for this intro.
I hate being a kidult because I cANT MOVE ON FROM THE MAGIC OF THE PAST💀
Its nice to return here
2004 Nickelodeon was rlly the best year for Nickelodeon
That moment you KNOW what you're watching
Paramount Logo: So what're we watching?
This logo: Oh HELL YEAH!
Born in 2004, and ik I’m no 90s baby, but seeing this intro reminds me of everything pre-2011. Like it was all a different time
this is so calming and nostalgic
Damn, such a cool unique presentation for a great movie. Nostalgic asf.
This is so Frutiger Aero
Wow, this intro is so magical and feels like a combination of so many nostalgic parts of my childhood mashed together.
The whole thing is very fruitiger aero-y, with the shininess, bubbles, clouds and feel good vibe. The big bang bit reminds me of Spore, which was my favorite game as a kid. The blimp and petals bit reminds me of the sort of art collage-type stuff that would be on school books. The fish reminds me of that one soap brand with fish on them, and the triangular filter on top is very similar to one the DSi's picture editing had.
It feels like the first 10 years of my life were compacted into a few seconds, and I love it.
Edit: forgot that this intro's music (and the Flaming Lips song in the credits) made me especially nostalgic for flutes. The wateryness (obviously there because it's a show about sea creatures) reminds me of seeing giftshops and aquariums during childhood vacations.
This was the only reason I knew it was the SpongeBob moovie
This is the theme of relief when I see the silent Paramount Pictures logo on my TV screen followed by this. Every time :)
The golden age years of Nickelodeon 😢
you cant stop me for playing this song on loop this movie is the only good spongebob movie that they added this fire opening scene
Does anybody else remember this logo ending with the standard five-note "Nickelodeon" jingle after the animation was finished, because I sure as hell do!
this video feels like nothing but pure nostalgia. i think we can all agree.
i didn’t realize how many people actually recognized it like i did. it randomly appeared in my head tonight and i’m so glad i could find this.
When i watch this, i literally have the urge to tear up and burst into tears.
The intro is beautifully done
