I was looking for van for last three weeks. I checked about 10 ldv’s and all had more then 100000 on odometer. Non of them had any leaks or visible damages on transmission. And all of them were driving very good.
33000 kilometres it's done extremely well to get that far. Considering how many are bashed out and you randomly get one it's a good chance a lot are crap.
For a brand new car you gotta do a diff oil change at 30k and it is expected to have bedded. That is why you have extra metal fragments in the diff oil. This guy is just making it sound like it's something to worry about. Clearly it is not easy to find a good mechanic.
@Jay W I'm sorry to hear about your battle that you must go through. My first advice would be call on the name of the Lord first and ask him for the help and to guide you. The one who created all things the mighty Lord Jesus Christ loves you and knows you better then you know your self. Secondly with the van I would recommend buying new lvd if you can and it will certainly last 10 years or more if taken care of. Also try get a high roof so you can stand and be comfortable. If you have a bathroom kitchen and bed in your van then you don't need a house. I also will most likely have to move out of my place in December and so I plan to stop all this renting nonsense and find freedom by living full time in a van/gym 😉😉. I will pray for you tonight friend that God will provide for you all your needs and keep you safe. I hope to see you in Gods kingdom oneday friend. ❤️
@Jay W all glory to the most high God. He has worked miracles in my life and he can for you too. If it wasn't for God answering my prayer I would still be a heavily addicted smoker, drunk etc. He changed me and helped me to live a life that can bring glory to his almighty name. Eventually I made a plan to read atleast 5-10 pages of the bible per day and within a year i was done. I not only learned alot about my self from reading Gods word but also learned alot about God. I would recommend you to make some sort of plan too to read :). The flesh will resist and won't want to do this but the spirit is willing.
Hey Steve, Has your opinion changed now? There seems to be a lot of LDV on the market. Considering getting a 7 seater D90 Bi-Turbo Diesel. What are your thoughts ?
It flexes, like most cars do, so they dont break and crumple when hit, so you dont die. You arent supposed to open the door while tikted on such an extreme angle. I wouldn't get practical advice from a wuss car journo... Who only can talk about a cars looks. Dumbasses go destory these cars out bush, then wonder why they have problems.
hey I drive one, It ten times better they the Hilux I had before it. The Hilux went back 8 time for warranty this one on has been back once dropt it off by 10am get it back the same day @ 4pm. The way your are looking at it you tend to direct the look at it been bad or good,

Perhaps he's been offroading alot with it and is generally pretty rough on it.
Yeah steering wheel wear looks more like it's done more then 33K looks like the type of wear you get on a vehicle that's done like 330k and more
Its wierd that the steering wheel was so much teared off for 33.000k i have one ltv 2019 with 90.000km and the steering wheel still looks brand new

Automatic locks come on when you hit 8km not good when a courier unlocking 200 hundred times a day ldv tech said cannot disable surely cant be so.
