Thank you for the videos! I still have a long way to go before I am able to remember these lessons. I do wish that you would walk through maybe 1 variation on why something is dead when you say it is. I believe you, but since I am still new I cannot visualize how it plays out.
I think most beginners suffer the exact same problem with life and death. I recommend you one thing: If you don‘t have a physical board (or atleast a way of filling a board virtually) then get one asap. If you already have one try playing out these life and death situations like you would in tsumegos. Try to save the stones the commentator calls „dead“ or „alive“ and find out what makes specific coordinates (like for example the 9-2 move he did at minute 09:40) so called „vital points“. The best way of studying life and death is to visualize them by your own, by trying to solve the situations, even if someone already tells you that they are alive or dead
