Nice commentary. I especially like watching the hands talk. Chinese slang for Go.
There's a lot to consider when playing a go game holy😂
'white does not black to get a big moyo' 0:55: ...
Thanks! Amazing review. The only point I didn't get right away, is why it is considered that black has more points then white before resign.
Learning Fuseki caused me to go from 5k to 3d in 1 year.
Stones can be locally (because it could change later in the game) dead (still in the board), dead (no chance to form a living group), or captured (out of the board)
Thanks for the video! : )
Thank you! I hope you'll continue to make go content like this
Could you make videos about reduction and invasion? I find development, reduction and invasion the most important topics in go.
Wow! Great video. Exactly what I needed.
Are you that Korean kid who lost to Hikaru in a go club?
Absolutely fantastic video. I cannot wait to share it with my Go Club. Thank you for this quality content.
7:15
This doesn't tell anyone what this means or how the aggression helped.
Thank you for the commentary!
Where is the Lesson 2?
Very very well done! Such clean explanation of the entire flow of the game. :)
Enjoyed this very helpful Thanks!
I had been looking for this teaching about fuseki's basics for years ! simple, super clear and great pedagogy. I finally learned the very basics after 25 years playing go. Thank you very much
Thank you for your time. It was very helpful and interesting to watch! You've got a new subscriber 🙃
Really enjoy your videos and love the board, bowls and stones! Wanted to asked specifically about the stones -- what are they made of?
great game, thank you for this vid
I love this style of aggression and seek to emulate it. I would love to see more "zombie style" and other precarious fighting plays. The fight is what I love in this game personally, even if it is only one part of the story.
Fantastic presentation!!!
Love both of these players, their style and reading abilities are awesome to observe. Takemiya is truly frightening with his fighting spirit.
I like the clean style of how you deliver the information. And it feels that you love the game and would like others to love it, too.
Thank you for your kind words and I surely do love go!
Great video! Takemiya is awesome.
The coolest go player alive!
Really liked the real board, but with removing variation stones edited out to go straight back to real game. Perfect editing, great video ❤
Thank you for appreciating my masterful editing skills hahaha
Great job, loved this
Thank you!
I liked how you showed the moves that were not played, and then also explained the reasons why.
Thank you for noticing🤜🤛
❤good 🎉
🙏👍🙏👍🙏👍
Great game, I am still weak to see the score difference in the ending position and understand white resignation..
I always recommend people to use golaxy and fox go server app cuz these apps can estimate scores for free and you can even take a picture of a board and get it estimated
Woah! To my little double-digit kyu brain all that action at the beginning on the bottom of the board is just simply incredible.
Ikr! Such a tight game
Great game. I like how Takemiya's solid connection moves hint at sharp fighting to follow, like a boxer stepping back before launching a haymaker.
I know right! Is there a saying in English that's similar to "pulling back the fist"? As in, someone is pulling back his fist to throw a heavy punch?
@@simplebaduk 'Pull back the hammer' is a similar expression relating to firearms.
What an amazing game! Takemiya is the best; I really enjoy all of his games.
Takemiya is definitely one of my favorite players of all time!
What board is this? It looks insane.
I wish I learned that earlier
Hello, very cool method but where did you get it ? A book? I have a korean book from him, is it this one ?
I don't know where he published it. It is just something that people teach in their classes. It is probably a super simplified version of what he teach in his books
Useful to know, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
🎉❤good 👍
Thanks ✌
Why is whites shape at 2:12 better than at 1:56?
The one at 1:56 is too heavy and has a cutting point left. White probably has to spend another move to secure that cutting point. Overall, stones are too heavy. Everything is touching each other. When reducing opponents, we have to try to avoid being heavy like 1:56 and be light like in 2:12. Much more flexible.
3:35 I thought the proper move for black is descend at 2-2
When black has a stone on the left side, black can descend at 2-2. In that specific case, black doesn't have any stones on the left side, so black has to form a tiger's mouth to be safe. The first rule of attacking is to keep yourself safe first.
❤good 👍
Thanks ✌
it is definitly must learn joseki, thank you !
I know right!!
Where do you get the go board with that deep lines, most of go board I've seen is just drawn by black ink?
It is probably difficult to get it in the US. I used to carry it on my site but shipping cost was a problem so I discontinued it. Let me know if you want carved boards like these. I can hook you up.
@@simplebaduk Do you have their company website?
@@hiskandar I just happen to know a guy who sells equipment in China so I got it from him but he doesn't have a website.
@@simplebaduk Thanks... it's ok, I decided to make it by myself. All I need is a router machine. 😅
Your channel is a jewel, I appreciate so much your accuracy and your overview ability Feel free to share all details you're able to !
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am currently upgrading my studio and I will try my best to bring you the best viewing experience!!
Fabulous as usual
Thank you for your comment like and subscribe brother!
I really enjoy the way you explain why such or such move has been played, their meaning.
Glad you liked it! It was a tough video to film because of all those variations haha
I loved that you also choose to talk about what a kyu player would do in some of those situations and show why the result may not be that good! @@simplebaduk
Thanks a lot for your comments and ideas. Great time with the playing the Go game.
Thank you for spending some time in our channel and with me! Please let me know if you have any specific kinds of videos that you want us to make!
