I'm in. I really enjoy your inspirational recipes to obtain more protein in your recipes. I also feel I need more protein and as a 70 yr old with osteoporosis , I want to maintain and build muscle mass.
Love this video! I am always making everything difficult. You made me realise that it can be so easy. Thank you for adding the recipes in the description box. I can't wait to try them. Pre menopausal woman here who wants to maintain what is left of my muscle mass and being carefull to not gain weight. Thank you for this clear and easy content 💚
I’m in! Yes yes yes, this is perfect, I eat a similar diet but I must admit mine is usually much simpler. I love seeing your meals/recipes and hearing your views, so much information. Thank you once again
You are so welcome! I use Japanese sweet potatoes or Murasaki sweet potatoes. I get them at Trader Joes but I have seen them at whole foods, Vons and Sprouts.
Love how easy the recipes are! I’ve been making my own soy yogurt lately, Trader Joe’s soy milk and I use the Kite Hill Greek yogurt for a starter. The newest thing I’m doing, I bought a big nut milk filter bag, and I drain the yogurt for a few hours in the fridge. It’s so much more delicious than the Kite Hill. And thicker
@@hidden909 I've been wanting to do that cause the kite hill is so expensive. I definitely want to strain it so it makes a Greek style, more protein!! Thanks for sharing ♥️
Hello Debi. You can get your soy curls for much cheaper if you go to Butlers directly. I get a 12 lb box of soy curls for around $55. Better pricing than Amazon. ☺️
Hey Debi - I wanted to tell you about a new recipe you might really like, it's by MrsSlimonPants a week ago , and it is an apple pie bake. I haven't made it yet, but it looks delicious and full of protein. I love her like I love you, she gives you recipes, writes them out and they all are full of protein! You guys are amazing , supportive and selfless! We appreciate you!
Thank you nice and simple, i notice you started doing the protein videos. What has change for you since adding the protein. Do you work out? Thanks again.
Yes I do work out. I lift weights 3 days a week and I walk every day. I have noticed more energy, more satiety after meals and actually building muscle. It has been a game changer. I have talked about it in detail in many of my newer videos.
I like the flavor of coconut aminos better and it has less sodium then the reduced sodium soy sauce, plus it's glute free which I need because I have Celiac
I am 64, I have been plant based since jan 2015. My fbs is creeping up, and I cant seem to lose any weight. do you think a higher protein diet would help with weightloss?
@@ChewonVegan Thank you. I have been following you for awhile. i am also a nurse but retired. Do you think a protein powder is necessary to get the needed amount of protein on a WFPB diet? Also What number of protein do you aim for per day?
I get super firm tofu, cube it up and season it with garlic salt, onion powder, smoked paprika and nutritional yeast and bake in the over @425 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Have you ever tried making your own yogurt using Trader Joe's boxed non- dairy soy milk? Open the carton, add one probiotic 10 billion cfu capsule( opened up) , close milk carton and shake to mix. Leave the carton out on your counter three days. On day 3, you have a pourable yogurt. To thicken it, I add three scoops of Strawberry Earth Chimp and maybe a tablespoon of maple syrup . A second batch can be made right away using several Tbsps. of the plain yogurt. The second batch comes out thicker for some reason. Super easy? A game changer for us!
FYI, bobs red mill now has a high protein oatmeal w 10 gr of protein in a serving. I’ve also incorporated what I saw other YTbers doing is adding cauliflower rice to it. I now eat more oatmeal bc I can bulk it up wo adding more calories
Oh good to know. Thank you for sharing. I 'll have to look for it. I have a few videos that I did where I added riced cauliflower to my oatmeal. It makes it creamy and adds lots of fiber.
These meals look good. I have not have ever had any soy curls. I bought a bad then eventually put in freezer. I didn’t know what to do and my husband said he didn’t want any. He is not plant based but eats a lot of the food in make as long as he gets meat. Since seeing your and the amount I will try. It was in my closet awhile then freezer. Do you think it will be ok?
Hey Debi - I'm thinking we are missing you! It's normally not 2 weeks for you to post a video, here's hoping all is well with you - sending you tons of love!
I watched a video saying don’t buy big fruit and vegetables because they aren’t supposed to be! He states if your blueberries are big they are probably GMO! Not sure if true but it makes sense!
Love the simplicity. 👍🏾👍🏾♥️♥️
Thank you! 🤗

This yogurt recipe only works with soy milk that is JUST soy beans and water!

Why do use grams and not measure cups?
It's more accurate. Here is a food scale that is similar to the one I use. amzn.to/3Yd9MTO
