    A very random suggestion for me, but an interesting one. An organisation I am a part of during formal ceremonies sings the British national anthem.
    For cultural reasons I never sing, but I do stand, for remaining seated would be seen as disrespectful and would cause people to talk.
    Also, they toast the monarch, something which I for cultural reason do not partake in, however I do stand.
    I've never been questioned, however I was a little while ago told I was standing wrong (placement of hands and position of head).
    These are not my emblems, and some of my countrymen would likely be quite vocal about it, but I always try to be be as respectful as I can.
