I've had every generation of PXG. I just hit the Gen5 stuff. BIG Improvement over the 4. I ordered a new set, and now need to mortgage my house...but worth it!
Just got my order (XF version) about 2 weeks ago and have taken it out for a round. So, just from using it this one outing and adjusting nothing from the factory as far as the weights or hosel setting, I have no more distance than my 20 year old Liquidmetal driver. Accuracy is still the same also. I like the club and hopefully will get more out of it and maybe down the road as my club head speed slows, it'll help out.
Hi Johanne - Great question! The XF driver has a greater focus on forgiveness on mishits, so it has a larger head shape. The X Driver will do a little better with shot shaping. ^Chelsea

With PXG weight kits you can really dial in CG MOI Spin Swing weight and Face closure rate. It’s more for fitting optimization, but us tinkerers have fun experimenting with stuff like that. 🙃
Ordered mine yesterday,an upgrade I hope from the 0311 gen 4

I have the gen 4 and 5, still need to work with the gen 5 but the gen 4 stays in my bag for now
Total distance looks about the same for gen 5 x and xf. So what is the trade off between x and xf if the distance is the same?

That is a great looking driver!
I like the Gen 4 driver much better.
Why are Gen 5 drivers 0311?
Every club is going forward will be 311
0311 is the u.s.m.c. military occupational specialty for an infantryman.

Looks like a downgrade
Why would anybody want a weight in the toe?
Weight in the toe may help with keeping the face open a little longer for guys that may fight with a hook as there miss.
