Looking forward to a roundup of forgiving drivers towards the end of the year, comparing these 10k to others like the cobra ltdx max and so on... Great stuff, chaps! Top drawer.
I have Had all the other brands this year April I brought a new set and had a fitting for PXG and have been amazed, my game has improved and my driver is have never hit so far. Wonderful clubs with the black ops edition 😅
Ive been playing PXG for 3 years and have had 0211, gen 4 and gen 5 drivers...the black ops blows them all away. Most forgiving, best sounding and feeling of any driver I''ve ever owned and I played Titleist most of my adult life as well. I'm an 11 handicap with a ss of around 88 to 92 mph reg flex evenflow 50 gram shaft. Consistently seeing 220 on easy swings up to 250 on faster cuts with it. I tried eveyr driver in this test and the black ops is simply better in every category at least for me as a mid handicap. If this driver was in golf shops instead of online it would be making the other big OEM brands super nervous in my opinion. Try it if you can find a fitter. The black ops is on another level compared to any other driver PXG has made or any other manufacturer for that matter.
@@bryansmith7490 what type of store do you go to check this and how much about does it run you? By me there’s a Dicks S.G, GolfTec, Club Champion, Golf Galaxy, PGA Superstore
Best advice is to go get fitted this “test” is fine for off the rack but it’s flawed because of the different shafts. If you really want to compare how each driver performs you need to try different shafts in each to determine which one is best for you
Absolutely, it’s stupid to buy any clubs without a fitting. I just got an iron fitting today. Ultimately the p790 was the winner, but the mizuno was very close and feel was the the final factor. But I wouldn’t have even looked at the mizuno clubs, yet for me the destroyed the Titleist, Ping, Callaway, and Srixon irons in the same class. If going off rack, the 790s were always my first choice, but the Titleist would have been my next and while I hit them ok, they were far behind the TaylorMade and Mizuno
Just got fitted two days ago with the Black Ops 0311 10.5 with an x stiff hzrdus 60g. Best feeling club and great feedback, even for mishits. Long too. Love it. Can't wait to game it tomorrow.
We don't Rich. To ensure an accurate comparison we use a test pro. We've just found using slower speed amateurs can lead to creating some very inconsistent results. Hope that helps.
Hey Today's Golfer, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel

I have the AI Smoke 💎💎💎! Can’t hit the damn thing! Everything goes left! I actually got fitted for the black OPPs and hit it very well! Major regrets not purchasing it!!
People are getting mesmerized by the 10k number. Truth is previous addition drivers from past years are not that far off of that mark, I would never spend the money they want for the Ping 10K driver. In Canada here $994 taxes in. I like distance, and it is sure lacking and looking at that test result. I would definitely choose the PXG or the Callaway for less money and similar results and more distance.
The average driver swing speed is 92 - 93mph, we prioritise using a consistent striker to get an accurate comparison, over using a slower speed but less consistent player.
Such good content. Would really appreciate more data with slower swing speed.
Keep an eye out in the new year for our 2025 testing which will include a category for the slower speed player!

What was the players swing speed and also what shaft was in the club
I couldn't agree more. I initially tested the 9-degree but was fitted into the 10.5 Black Ops with the GD Tour AD XC shaft.
Nice set-up Bryan

Absolutely agree, a proper fitting can unlock untapped potential.

Do you have comparisons for 85 to 90 mph club head speed

@@peterfan8650 Absolutely not off the table Peter. Watch this space.
Really want to try the black ops alongside other new drivers, but struggling to find anywhere decent that does this.
In the UK at least we'd be heading to one of our very few independent fitters, somewhere like Precision Golf.

Thanks for the offer Ehtizan, we're good at the moment, if that changes we'll be in touch.
I have a 9 degree black ops Can I loft up to 10.5 and get better carry
That’s what I did, was much better than the 10.5 head when I got fitted. Working great and really getting the feel of it.
Have you given it a try Nick? Were you fitted for the driver?
I haven’t played yet to try it

7:30 every time the guy on the right says "#1 because of looks and feel" the guy on the left takes a hard swallow to avoid a spasm 😂

Hard to relate given that most people including me swing 85-90mph.

And yet another review without an Iron Byron number
Are you asking us to test drivers on a robot Santiago?
Why didn't you show us hitting the drivers👎
There's hitting shots in there Gregory albeit in slow motion. Were you looking for the sound?
