Yup, assembled in Malaysia. But it was a failed model in Malaysia due to poor sales. Peoples in Malaysia currently preferring other Japanese brands such as Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki and such. That Madass, sorry to say, consider yourself lucky if you ever see one on Malaysian roads.
Same in here.. indonesia
It is very much like a Honda Solo, a bike that none of us have seen but one that the world needs right now.
A few of them were privately imported into New Zealand. Very cool looking bikes.
Love the top speed runs! Here in the US these are quite rare and mostly 50cc. They were also sold under the Tomberlin brand. Kymco has also made a similar style bike, called the K-Pipe, that was a bit more popular here.
Interesting stuff! Love these comments Ben. I just looked at the Kymco K-Pipe - weird but I get it. Probably sells well. The Sachs Madass fell into a weird segment of the market because old time enthusiasts of the brand didn't appreciate the modern 4 stroke option. People that did like it were often new to the brand entirely.
I'am owner of Sachs Madass with 140cc YX engine from 8 years. I ride a lot. Verry rare in Poland... have seen 2 or 3 in that time. Now my daughter will get it.
140cc would make it really fun!
Hey, I really love your content man. I don’t watch a lot of stuff on RUclips, but I absolutely love what you do.
Honestly thanks so much. I saw this comment on the day you posted it and was in the middle of a difficult edit - was nice to read those words. Appreciate the views!
@@SmallBikeStuff thank you so much for answering my comment your a stand-up cat. I do a little RUclips myself and I always try to answer comments, but there aren’t too many of us left well you’ve got me as a subscriber and you don’t need to answer this one, but I do appreciate you thank you my friend. Have a great weekend.
@@SmallBikeStuff Oh, I bought a MadAss the day after I watched you. I also own a few Yamahas all XTs
What a fun bike! Never seen one in the metal, they do give off a custom vibe, like those BMX frame custom cubs!
Thanks for watching! They are a cool looking machine - theres no doubt!
The BMX cubs are so dope. Many videos of them on RUclips and on how to fabricate one. They're the coolest bike out there, imo.
I remeber seeing this bike around kathmandu a few times when I was in school. But I guess they shut down. Always wanted to ride one lol
Amazong Video mate, im impressed..Im gonna buy one instantly 😍❤️
Glad you liked it!
I really like the design of that "moped"
Thanks I'm glad you watched the video.
Pretty cool. It reminds me of the Cannondale Super V mountain bikes from the 1990s
Funny timing, I had a photo of one pop into my feed yesterday. The algorithms know all!
@@SmallBikeStuff Yikes, that's weird.
Great review, cheers mate
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it!
I've only seen one here in Costa Rica, guy seems to he selling it, don't think this would be a good first bike, but it would be a cool addition to the stable for a project bike.
It would be a fun project for sure. They can be a nice bike to ride.
Sick looking bike. do you know what the fuel capacity is?
Supposedly that frame tank holds 4.6 litres!
questionable... very, very questionable.
@@SmallBikeStuff
5 liters
@@pisklakiwogrodzie with a 125cc that is more than enough. so cool.
I saw one like this on fb marketplace philippines. Last year
Nice! Interesting to know.
These are rare here in uk but do see them for sale very occasionally. Must be so light , there’s nothing to them !
I think if that was mine I’d go down a tooth on front sprocket, 4th gear seems very long
Cool to note they exist in the UK. It's always interesting seeing what countries get different bikes!
When u cover cg125
Make it 1 hour 😂and some cool facts too
Haha I’ll do my best!!!
That Sachs bike use to sale here in Thailand by Tiger Motorcycle (former Thai Kawasaki-PDK)
Probably futuristic looking but poor quality from Chinese parts. And after Tiger who assembly Sachs and Cagiva went defunct (some of crew and factory move to Stallions) Sachs bike become rare bike now.
Yeah it suffered from poor support here in New Zealand too. Not many left now.
I got one, 2010 with 878 miles on the clock
Do you ride it much? Cool machines
@@SmallBikeStuff I’ve got around eight bikes, this one makes me smile the most 😊
I think here it was braded as MOMOS.
Seeing it as Madass kinda screw my brain for awhile
Interesting! Thanks for watching.
Wen you have on sale
Not my bike sorry!
Do the lifan 140cc fit into these easily?
Same bolt holes yup!
is there an automatic variant of this?
They never released one but that engine type did get created in a fully automatic option. You could hypothetically swap one in.
Absolutely love those bikes but I won't pay a premium for one. The bike is screaming for a 200cc Malaysian engine - it wouldn't be difficult to get one to fit.
It would almost bolt right in. Good idea!
Does anyone know what replacement carburetor I can use for my 125?
Try a Nibbi one from Aliexpress.
@@SmallBikeStuff I got one on Amazon and bike runs better than ever! 👍🏻
You should put an Mito or RS 125 engine in it ^^
Dreams are free! Good idea though.
Mito review, yeah!
I have had a Mito and an RS. I really meant it as I said it. As far as I can remember, they both had about 140-150 kg... I also had the Sachs MadAss E and that bike had not even 60 KG.... Just imagine, what that engine would be capable of in a frame with that weight.... @@messeduplad
@@Miley-RayStewart which one is more ergonomics? And which fastest?
@@messeduplad It is a 125..... IT is forbidden in the most countries to have them opened and if I can be honest... I did it but looking back I know how stupid and not worth it was the risk... Once you sit on a 600 or even a 1000ccm that is an entirely new world... I liked the RS more because of the way it drove. It just one of the greatest suspensions I have ever had. The engine felt much more confident than the Mito. The RS accelerated was nicer, I think. The RS had a little "punch in the midrange and then a higher Punch at the higher rate. The Mito on the other hand was a bit like "all or nothing." There was absolutely no power at all and then on about 8000 she had all her power at once, which felt a bit more extreme, but then it was totally annoying for the street use. They both were about around 180-200 on the Speedo but the Mito felt more true, but none of them were "real" 180 ... I guess they both were around real 160 or so. But they were nice bikes. I think the Mito seems to be a bit more "special" (I also had the SP 525 which is such a pretty bike, but you have to invest into it, to get it from 15HP to the original Power) but the RS 2003 drove better. I personally would not advise risking something with those things and be waiting for these 2 years or so to get a "real" bike. And not a 1000ccm (which in my opinion is stupid for beginners, because normally you want to "upgrade" yourself and have something new after a few years, which would be killing your own fun by entering on the top level, just to prove how much of a man you are by driving a liter bike with electronics... I'd advise to go step by step and have multiple "first times" .
Worst comfort I have ever experienced on a bike. It looks good though.
I had bad memories of the seat comfort from years back but I didn't feel it was so bad this time. Possibly because I didn't ride it long. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a postie bike on crack
My old sr50 Aprilia would smoke that also.
It sure would! And thats a great description of the bike. Haha. Thanks for watching!
Chinese honda
ct125
The most uncomfortable thing I have ever ridden.
Hahaha I have heard a lot of people say that.
