You could get spray dye if you wanna cover up the rest of those stains. I used to be a detail tech and we used to use carpet dye. Spray it in and let it sit for 24 to 48 hrs if you can.
That’s smart. I probably could have went harder on them, but it’s my daily and I have so many stains or dirt from work or camping they will be dirty again soon.
Factory SR5 seats are THE most comfortable seat for these rigs. I owned a '93 civic EX in '94 and those seats are vastly inferior to healthy SR5 seats.
Went to 2 different pick n pulls put in second gen runner seats. Switched the top frame on passenger for another driver frame i pulled so both have lumbar support. Picked up 2 85 sr5 grey seats in near mint condition that im trying to sell.
As a honda guy as well as toyota I feel like you downgraded. I have an 87 sr5 and have had plenty of hondas as well, you should look into integra seats or prelude seats they are 100xs better. The sr5 seats are a luxury for me lol cool swap though, integra seats will bolt up to that setup if you ever decide to upgrade. Cool build though, it's a nice 1st gen🤙🏼
It was an upgrade compared to my warn out set and I got them for basically free. Hopefully I’ll find a good condition set of SR5 seats in the future! Thanks for watching
Did you consider using the original passenger bracket and moving it to the honda seat, in order to keep the sliding feature for passengers to get out? If you considered it but decided against it, why?
The Honda brackets move just as far forward. It slides just as far and leans farther forward and backward. And is a much more sturdy lever then the ordinal. If you watch till the end it shows it. Not worth all the work for equal outcome.
Hello, beside being comfortable in your honda civic seats, aren’t the seats too high ? Do you enter in your car easily or do you have to tuck to enter ? I have to tuck myself in and i am a 5,7 guy, as i enter my head touches the door frame
I’m 6,1 and I sit perfect I have no issues getting in but my truck is taller. I felt like it was maybe 1in taller but I think it’s because my old seats were blown out and had no cushion
I want to purchase a decal as a gift for a friend of mine who is currently restoring a 1st gen 4runner. I've been scouring the internet for hours trying to find the measurements of the side back window (Where you have your EMS sticker). Do you know these measurements? I'm finding it impossible.
Looks great man! I love how detailed you were!!
Thanks Bud!

You’re probably right but for 80$ it was a huge upgrade over paying 1000$ to fix the old seats.

That’s awesome you keep an eye out and parts are still there!

Look on Etsy there’s a few different flags and decals on there if that’s what you’re looking for if not let me know.
@@AGFreedom Thanks yeah I’ve seen those I requested it from the seller but he doesn’t have the measurements for the older models :(
He said he could do it for me if I got the measurements!
