**PLEASE READ**: So there's been a major technical mistake with this video. This is only HALF the video, as for whatever reason, the video didn't render the rest of the guide. I have NO WAY to recover the raw footage I used but here's the continuation of the guide in TEXT FORM. Again I am super sorry that the video ends abruptly but I have no way to fix this and I worked far too hard and spent way too much time not to publish something. I will **literally miss bill payments if I don't publish this video**. So here's the rest of the guide: Craft blacksmith armor and weapon tables. Mass produce chain armor till you level it up enough for a full set of armor (chest, legs, boots, gloves, helmet) Make a bellows to make a furnace to make metal spikes then start making iron pikes to level weaponsmithing Use Rawhide from tannery to turn it into string and straps to create bracers and looms Use looms to create cloth Use cloth to create leggings and capes Don't bother with food crafting stations as most of the food takes ages to cook and is worse than random mushrooms and berries on the ground. The tower progress: Got really high up, then crumbled for some reason, got re-made a bit shorter. Don't bother fighting NPC humanoids as they are wayyy too strong even if you're in full chain mail and iron weapons. Again, SUPER SORRY for the weird editing blunder I've never had this happen before but trying to record this game really stressed my software so I guess the video footage got corrupted and my rendering software didn't recognize it? I dunno what happened honestly out of thousands of videos this has never once happened and I truly am sorry but hopefully you found the first half of the video useful it'll get you way ahead of the causal players for sure.
Definitely fight the NPCs, in a two or three ideally. We cleared a small tower and obtained items we needed for healing magic spell cap. Well worth bashing the NPCs, healing is a massive game changer
Pretty good advices on resource management(time management) and hunting(with current animal ai) gathering etc. Make a second part. Ill sure to watch it before release.
Sadly if the video didn't cut off it pretty much ends where you're in a massive time sink mode waiting days for stuff to refine only to have a 5% chance to succeed at crafting to the point where if you're solo it'd take a month to even be able to go to the next tier, and for what? +1 extra damage? Not worth it.
This was a great video, it’s a shame some of the footage was lost, although I kind of wish you had written down the info in the video for quick reference next week lol. I haven’t played in the alpha but have been hearing about it and getting excited by watching stuff on RUclips.
OOF that's rough!! I think I may have spent too long building a house in Alpha 2. Lol. By the end of the test, I was still running around in my skivvies but I had a cute cabin!! 😆
*Serious question:* Will bow be good later on? As someone who has been a Hunter/Ranger lover ever since my first MMO (Daoc) back in 2001. For me, if it's just bad and only for range pulling, will be a dealbreaker for me and wallet closed. What do you think I played in New World? Musket/Bow :D
Against humanoid mobs, no because they just cast spells that hit you harder than you hit them, so you lose the trade. For PvP? Maybe if you're in the back lines but you'd be more useful in the front lines.
@@SwoleBenji Were you able to flesh out the bow at all? I think you mentioned yours was only T1? So maybe there'a bit more hope at higher tiers, or you really think it's just dogshit?
I leveled the bow in the 1st alpha. Got pretty good with it. Against animals I was 1 shotting pretty often. Bears on the other hand would just turn and kill me. I'm a archer/dagger in most games and for me personally I felt it needed a lot of work
@@ATC_Forgiven What animals? Wolves? You can 1 shot any of the lower tier animals with basic weapons. I feel like whoever designed the combat, the weapon balancing, etc just kinda made temp shit and said "I'll do it later" and this is what we got.

Due to the large amount of crafting stations you need. So you need to smelt impure iron 10 bars take 100 coal each to make. Each set of 100 coal takes 45 minutes to make irl, then you take that to smelt your iron, that takes another hour irl. now you have 10 ingots near two hours later. but wait you need more, then you get more two more hours later, then you fail the craft, start over... get the pictuer now? lol
You are part of the friends and family right most of the people on here are, it is the only was this piss poor attempt of a cash grab has any positive to it.
@@henryramos4185 the plot mechanics are interesting, the rest of the game is a mobile game on PC, with all the high prices in the cash shop (I think), and with the big timer to complete tasks, crafts, travels (I think) and with a huge grind if you don't buy items from the cash shop (I think). Grim Soul is a mobile game that I like to play, and it's VERY similar, right down to the names. But these types of games should be played for free, or not even installed at all.
My wallet will be closed until I see that this game will bring as a finished product. Aka main release. Condisering the devs also said everything will be wiped from the Alpha/Beta. However, thanks for the new player info part.
The game has no builds, the way you become OP is do not buy into the cash grab of a game very simple. The only build is the Shield and any 1h weapon as the only viable attack is the shield stun, because beyond that there were no other mechanics, it is that basic.
NO not at all, you build a house and that is mainly it, Mine Craft has better content. Imagine you were to make Valheim beautiful in UE5 , then go back in and strip everything but base building, You strip out the boats, The bosses, The seasons, The over all weather. Then you reduce the mob count by 95%, added in zone lines exactly like the way games were made 25 years ago. You place in gear and weapons that have no real impact on defense or Attack, and you make the PVP zone a "Stand by Me" like adventuer, for you younger folks that is like Frodo taking a trip to Mount Doom, you toss in some very clunky combat mechanics that pale in copairison to Roblox and that sums up the game. I think you would have more fun stapling your scrotum to a chair and standing up over and over, at least it would be cheaper.

Yep. Clans can share their plots with each other too and have massive spaces you can't compete with.
This reminds of Icarus. You grind away on a random mob generating map for no reason.
