This was wonderful. I was so excited to watch this. My grandfather was born in Catanzarro and as a small boy, was the bell ringer at La Chiesa de Santa Anna in the early 1900’s. Thank you so much. What a gift to see this.
Great video! I moved to Calabria from Canada many years ago, I live in Cosenza. I'm planning to visit Catanzaro in the fall, I really need to explore this city! :)
Thank you so much for making a wonderful editorial, with lots of praise for my city! This is great! I live right among these places that you have explored, near the Cathedral of the Duomo. I very much hope that you will return as Catanzaro still has a lot to show for itself, for example the Biodiversity park, in addition to the famous Morandi bridge. I had already had the opportunity to appreciate the ones you did on Montepaone and Soverato.
Great video Lily brings back memories when I went to Catanzaro such a beautiful city and your son is hilarious hearing his little voice cute kid and nice family thank you for showing places in Calabria much appreciated take care and enjoy every moment ciao 👋

Omg brings me back to being 12 years old with my nono. We used to take u pullmanu from our village to catanzaro at 5am and stay there for the day until the bus took us back. This is amazing. Thank you very much for your BEAUTIFUL video!!!!!!!!! Love it
Catanzaro was part of the Eastern Roman Empire, not the Byzantine Empire because the Byzantine empire never existed. You will find that in 1557 Hieronymus Wolf a german writer, replaced the name of the Eastern Roman Empire by the “Byzantine” empire. He made it up. You can research this. He was only focused on “Greek” history and gave it that name. The people of the Eastern Roman Empire would be shocked to find out that today we are calling them Byzantine.
