STEPS:
1) Check if your hard drive or SSD is present on the boot menu
2) Turn off your computer and on it again and immediately and repeatedly tap f2 or fn+ F2 to enter into the BIOS settings
to Check once again if your hard drive or SSD is present and you also have a diganostic tool to check if its working or not then do this test before proceeding.
4) Go to the BOOT tab and change the Boot settings from LEGACY TO UEFI or from UEFI to Legacy depending on whether is was preciously set to.
5) Aftrer press F10 and enter to save the settings and exit from Bios.. now check if your hard drive is booting.

what if hard disk says "not installed" ?

For mine there is a password to bios set up
You need to remove the password other than that you will use an external bios programmer to flash the bios chip. You can go to RUclips and type how to flash bios password.
