Thank you so much for this fabulous video. I don't have a singer, I have a machine from Wal-Mart . It's a brother. I'm learnings and this does help allot especially with the bobbin tension. Mine doesn't have the silver case and I have seen this before. I'm hoping one day to make not just pretty paper but to be able to do a quilt so starting with paper and watching videos like this one really will help in the long run. Thanks again
I wanted to say I have really enjoyed binge watching your videos since yesterday and wanted to thank you for this bobbin information! I took a class decades ago in Junior High on sewing and this was never mentioned so I have dealt with this problem of having a mess of thread stuck inside of my machine because my tension was not right from the bobbin not Being fixed! How many times have I had to cut out a mess of thread not knowing why it happened :-( but now I know and I am so very thankful! Thank you once again for your lovely RUclips channel I have so enjoyed your videos :-)
I recently replaced my old machine because I thought it was broken. It was producing lots of birds nests in the bobbin & I didn't know how to fix it. I'm going to try your tips to see it that was the problem. I never understood 'tension' & how to properly adjust it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in this video!!
