I have a Thrustmaster T300 gt wheel.
I really like this wheel. I was driving 7 years in go kart in my childhood. I drove against the time against others every weekend almost on different tracks. After training weekly 7 years long more or less I won the german grand masters series in my class (in reality). I was a few secound faster then the 2th place. Then I stoped driving after 1 year after I won the german masters. Now I discovered this game. It feels quite cool, Not really completly the way real carts feel like but its what it is because in a normal cart you sit close to the floor and whatsoever. Thanks for your video I aplied like everything ? so Im happy even the sharpenss was set on 200 percent. On 100 percent it looks way more realistic , smoother.

VR is the next level for this stuff with head turning
It really is fantastic but the game got sold and seems pretty dead since then 🫠
Telemetry is great to have on if you have a spare tablet for example. I didn't realise KK had this feature until watching this video. I use Sim Dashboard for all of my racing sims which gives me map and position data on my tablet. In American Truck Simulator, I use it as a virtual truck dashboard with all of my switches and guages. It is an awesome addition to any simulator.

Hey, loved the video. Just want to say, the G920 doesn’t have a loadcell. It has a potentiometer and a piece of rubber so it detects how far the pedal is pressed.
Some Fanatec pedals and most high quality pedals have loadcell pedals with rubber in also but they detect the pressure not the distance travelled.
Also, the way I would explain slip angle is the point between drift and grip that makes you turn faster but also have good exit speed. It is hard with a kart because of how delicate you have to be with the steering and how slippy they are.

Yahh I was struggling to explain slip angke for sure because while it's not necessarily a new concept for me in practice, it's definitely a new concept for me to try and explain. I'll probably do a video update with more accurate information here in the near future. I've still been working on my tuning video because that's a whole different beast 🤣🤣

Kartkraft is as serious of a sim as you can get. So if that's the route you want to go down, definitely stick to pc gaming.

also just wanted to give some monitor advice in general because you mentioned getting a new screen soon. I play on VR so I'm not sure if screen racers are looking for some quality in particular, but I can offer this. I'd say a good 70% of "HDR" monitors only have enough HDR capacity to advertise themselves as such. On most of these monitors, actually enabling HDR looks shittier than with it disabled. The biggest thing is the panel, IPS being the best for colors.
Big recommendation on the Dell S2721DGF. It is 100% part of the monitors that the HDR is shitty, but the panel is incredible and the colors are beautiful. Best bang for buck monitor and I cannot stress that enough.... 1440p 165hz. Apologies if I over explained, no intention of being offensive!

Thanks for your tutorial. If you turn on the INPUTS HUD to show your pedal values it will be easier to understand your feets' movement. I think KartKraft's 3D steering wheel should have a 100% angle from your real-life wheel. I'm a newbie playing KartKraft with an RC controller (better than gamepads I guess), I play this game just by watching the wheel in the game : ). Cause there is no FFB for me, I put the accelerometer in the center of my screen to see the G force and that's still pretty hard. Lots of seconds behind the top records. I'm planning on getting an FFB Steering wheel. Could you explain more about how to feel the FFB in your next video about the tuning?

Appreciate the info bro, the kart feels so heavy with your settings on a 9nm base. Turn down to 60% gain and still heavy, have any recommendations?
I would just turn your overall ffb down a bit. I like a heavy feeling wheel personally that's why mine is that way.
@STEAMxGaming i try that in pithouse too. Do karts generally have a heavy feel ? Sorry ive never driven one
@Junior the generally are more stiff. Tighter steering angle and no power steering so all of the steering torque comes from your speed and arm muscle

I need to go to INPUT and set everytime unlike other racing games.
everything I set in INPUT wont be saved and I have to set everytime I play the game.
The best thing you could do is load up kartkraft, go to the support button and select it. This will give you a discord invite for the kartkraft support discord. Ask your question there and I'm sure you will get your answer faster. I have no experience with Moza. How do you like it? It's about time that I upgraded to a DD

Yes it does. Kartkraft is one of the most realistic sims available so you can brake hard at the limit amd ease off for the exit.
