I don't know why I hadn't thought of using a toothbrush before but that's a great tip that actually worked for me. Thank you.

Thank you for the nice, clean video. I did try cleaning mine with a toothbrush but now I see I have to be much more persistent. I agree with you, it is a very, very good lighter.

Do these take the same flints as Zippo etc?

Hi, I have a old boy which i bought New Old Stock (NOS). The problem is that the butane gas would not come out from the nozzle to start a flame. Any way to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for the tips. Certainly one shouldn't be too aggressive in cleaning this lighter, I've read comments that it's important to use Corona flints rather than generic ones. What do you think?

i used some cheap flints and i noticed the sparks make it dirtier, but not rly an issue since the flame makes so much residue anyways. also my cheap flint sometimes has a bad smell

Love them but sadly I had a new one that leaks gas and the shop says they have to charge me to send it back to Japan and can’t replace a new one , and it was only 3 days old 😢😣 pretty sad and frustrating .
