It’s his game of the year. In all honesty what’s really come out this year? I personally think stalker 2 will be my game of the year but as I type this I can’t think of any games that came out this year that were super awesome. Didn’t like wukong. Elden ring SotET is a dlc. Dragons dogma 2 was just okay. Not really sure what’s been very good.
The “mostly positive” reviews on steam just make me laugh at all the people who dogpiled on the game. Consensus seems to be that writing and dialogue is trash, but everything gameplay wise is good. I’ll probably wait for a sale
Surely people will calm down now that the game had a solid launch and largely positive public reception. Surely they wanted the game to be good and didn't just hate it for an arbitrary reason 🙂.
From what I've seen so far, I think this will be the only aspect of the game I will enjoy. The story and dialogue seem bland and the art style seems so sterile. Can anyone share some thoughts about the difficulty options? I think I will like the combat, builds and synergies, but I wonder if a higher difficulty makes the combat more fun or rather more of a chore. Can you outlevel the content, is grinding required?
You can customize the difficulty. I put the enemies' reaction on max, damage on high, and health on standard. It's fun, and I'm two hours in, and I haven't died once. But I think the characters and the world are among the best-looking this year. I'm playing on 4K, though, but it seems like other people don't agree, so that's just me.
Morti come on my guy you’ve never gone this far with previous reviews even for Black Myth Wu Kong. Fextralife was right some reviewers were bought for good reviews but didn’t expect you to be part of that.
Its surprised me at first too but this does fit with his preferences. He loves Diablo last I heard and this is DA becoming more like Diablo in terms of gameplay. That's how it seems to me anyways.
Looks like a good game. The same chuckleheads that complain about hating the animation art type style of this game will proceed to uninstall it, and go play WoW for 15 hours, and not understand the irony.
You can play any other MH and it will play almost identical to Wilds. Let's not pretend they innovate that much, the game's been using the exact same move sets for every weapon for 30 game iterations by this point. Wow, in this one you can aim your attacks instead of using the clutchclaw or wirebug, together with the same weapon combos that have been around for 20 years, amazing.

Hey Mort! You a lot of courage during a time when sheep are plenty.
Loved your review, bought the game and Im enjoying it thoroughly.
Its funny how most of the people hating havent actually played the game lol 🐑🐑🐑
So I should spend 60 bucks and waste my time when all the evidence that I won't like the game is right there in front of me? Y'all always say the same stupid shit.
@lens_hunter You should do what you want with your money.
I would never buy a COD game because "all evidence shows that I want like it" but you won't see me stalking videos directed at people who are interested in the game trash talking the game and repeating the same jargon seen from another reviewer or trying to make jokes that simply put are corny.
free comment.
Probably just me but the font they use for the damage numbers just completely breaks immersion for me; looks like from an Excel spreadsheet.
Oh yeah! Just what I need!
Nice. Loving the game so far.
jeezus, stop disliking folks, that's just disrespectful to a decent content creator, not everybody had to jump hate train
are u gonna make a video about creating an evil character? oh wait..
Being evil in bioware games is always the typical twisting mustache type, stop pretending you care about that. If you don't like the "agenda" then just say so.
Take your salt elsewhere, please. If you're already determined to hate and denigrate then please, either move on and do something more worthwhile or do it somewhere else.

@@tutes0133 if your gonna argue or have a meaningful debate atleast make an effort to try and disprove what i said, how is it me being "salty" for stating a fact that u can't roleplay as an evil character
@@londonisforeverblue1022 This is the comment I’m referring to
great and helpful guide as always mort
wish it was about a better game tho
People just want this game to be bad huh ?
Going a bleed two handed warrior build and I’m enjoying it. Honestly excited to make new characters and try new builds. I am thinking going a pure ranger next.
Thank you for the video ❤
I'm semi-enjoying the game so far, but game of the year is not a great take.
The camera being off center is causing me sever vertigo. Hopefully modders can fix
Hey mort thanks for your recommendation I’m enjoying the game actually. More than I thought I would for sure.
That's some cope, holy moly.
@@bxile730 You're totally just going around to DA:V videos and whining all over them, aren't you? LOL
@@bxile730Those are rookie numbers bro! Above the skies and beyond!
hater brigade needs to calm down, just because you dont like the game doesnt mean others dont enjoy it.
4 hs and im having a really good time with the game
I am definitely loving it so far 5/hrs in
I’m on the hater bandwagon, identifying as non buynary
its ok by repeating the same dogwhistle we can tell you haven't had an opinion of your own for a while.
wow, that's so cool that you are sharing a bandwagon with neckbeard soyjack incels.
@@kjaesp come on lighten up, non buynary, thats just funny.
@@kjaesp Should he buy a game he hates to form an opinion?
You also don't have an original thought in your tiny mind.
The game is fun. People are dumb. That's all.
Pass lmao.
Morti come on my guy you’ve never gone this far with previous reviews even for Black Myth Wu Kong. Fextralife was right some reviewers were bought for good reviews but didn’t expect you to be part of that.
What builds are there to do with wukong? Wukong is a linear game with a premade character with skill trees so it doesnt need a video, this does
People are allowed to like a game of their own will and volition, and buying reviews is illegal.
Are we just ignoring all his baldurs gate and WoTR content?
You must be new here. Mort often does build or other guides surrounding games he enjoys.
Its surprised me at first too but this does fit with his preferences. He loves Diablo last I heard and this is DA becoming more like Diablo in terms of gameplay. That's how it seems to me anyways.

You guys taking that seriously? Seemed like hyperbole to me, notice the heart.
@@bobbybee2975 It's called sarcasm dumbfuck
Looks like a good game. The same chuckleheads that complain about hating the animation art type style of this game will proceed to uninstall it, and go play WoW for 15 hours, and not understand the irony.
jfc god forbid someone likes a game someone else hates
If you don't make a Non-Buy-nary, don't bother...😏
I'm not interested in this game full of propaganda but if you want to make videos about it, go for it. Just know that some will not watch.
Play Monster Hunter Wilds beta instead, it’s great.
And once youce gotten your save file that's all you can get out of it til game launch so.... Let him enjoy a game that's actually released maybe?
But monster hunter wilds is great. Don’t play this it’s for mentals. Monster hunter wilds has monsters
@@Dupertron-lo9pz oh my bad, didn't realize I was talking to a child. I'll let you go on your way.
The snowflakes just can't resist downvoting, can they?
