I found the Advanced Course to be profoundly life changing for me. I did however attend in person and I believe having connections with others attending was pinnacle in my transformation. Hopefully LM would offer an opportunity to attend in person to truly get what you were looking for.

The Landmark Advanced course is a personal development workshop that builds on the Landmark Forum.
The content of the course is not as important as what you take away from it and how you apply it to your everyday life.
The goal for the course should be specific and focused.
Due to the pandemic, the course was done virtually, which had pros and cons. The day was shorter and more digestible but lacked the authentic conversations that occur in person.
The content of the course was not groundbreaking, but it encouraged reflection, group work, and learning from other people's experiences.
Personal development work is powerful, and the breakthroughs can come from various sources such as books or workshops.
The course is not a magic solution that will transform your life; it depends on what you make of it and your desire to change.
The course helps individuals find their purpose and work towards their passions.
Testing reality and reflecting on how we gauge it is a significant part of the course.
Overall, the course is recommended for those who have done the Landmark Forum, but it is up to the individual to make the most out of it.

Don't speak too soon about disappointment, sometimes you don't realize what you 'got/get' in that moment, it can take you by surprise.

By adopting their stance of life having no meaning, and people adding meaning to any event they experience, one would conclude there is no right or wrong. As social animals, so to speak, we do need commonly accepted notions of right and wrong; you might agree on that, even if you dilute the concept of "wrong" down to "that which harms or threatens human life". Also, humans have an innate ability to discern wrong from right, even if at the most basic level of grievous harm. It's called a conscience.

100% I agree with all of the above. I look at life has no meaning from the perspective of leaving my baggage aside and not bringing it to every situation. A really basic example is that I do a lot of presenting and public speaking at work - part of me looks at the audience and decides that they are wondering what this fraud is doing here, why they're being paid to listen to me and feels nervous and uncomfortable. That is my own meaning of the situation and not what is actually at play.
Do I think there is still right and wrong? 100%. Would I say that treating people badly, aggressive behavior or law breaking is acceptable? Absolutely not.
Everything I discuss is from a coaching perspective and from working with people to be free to live their life at closer to full potential. Treating people with respect and integrity is a big part of that.

Hello All, I’m late to the party. Better late than never!! Question, I’m super curious about how everyone makes up their own truth about situations or people or whatever. I get that and can absolutely see that that’s what happens. But what is the point Landmark is making? What is their teaching regarding this? Anyone have thoughts??? Please share 😁👍😁. Thanks everyone!!!!

I had an issue with the virtual thing as well, I let it go and I had an incredible experience I really felt like they were in the room with me I believe were able to get on the zoom call early, and chat with people then and I get it supper same as coffee or a meal, there’s there’s ways to make it out I had for phone calls with the core supervisors that really made a difference

The Act realization was an incredible part of the course...the fundamental inauthentic part of us is obvious when u see it...I could help you define your act

Werner would say its all an act , that there is no such thing as an authentic presentation. Once a BEING gets that then the BEING uses the act deliberately
