Thank you Brother Francisco. I've been praying the Liturgy of the Hours a bunch of times with different monastic communities in my country Colombia and I never realized the fact you mentioned that senior monks according to their rank and junior monks as well had to leave the choir in their respective order. Thank you Brother.
God bless you all at St Vincent!!!
    🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I just found the channel and have enjoyed so much. I feel so blessed after watching your videos and vlogs. For decades now I have considered going back to school and majoring in theology. My love for the Lord is overflowing, and I am so grateful that he gave his life for me. It sounds so serene there, but with all your daily tasks I am sure it’s filled with a lot of work assignments, but most especially meditation and reflection. I’m going to look into more background and see if indeed you even have retreats for those who just need a spiritual lift in life. I live in Southwest Florida and have been through two very severe hurricanes in the past three weeks. I am blessed that there has been no damage to my home or entry to my body. But so many here are less fortunate. And, it breaks my heart. May God bless you and keep you safe in His care. Doug

I would love to learn about how new monasteries/abbies/houses are started. You have frequently mentioned that your vow of stability ties you to St. Vincent in a particular way rather than the wider order. How does that work when it seems like time to branch out into a new place?

I bet it's all good in the brotherhood.

I have a question, Br. Francisco. Who deals with personal issues like arguments among brothers?

@zzzaaayyynnn depending on the seriousness, such things will potentially be dealt with directly by the Abbot. If it's less serious, it will more likely be taken care of by the prior

Its really odd the only other time I have heard the term procurator is in Scotland with there procurator fiscals who is like a coroner/public investigator. I'm guessing though it must have the same historical basis but its odd that the roles aren't smiler

Does St. V have Claustral Oblates? If so, where do they fit in seniority? Above/below novices?
