    I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge with the rest of us. I enjoy the honesty too. I smiled when you said you figured to be done in an hour and a half. Then smiled again when you said the parts store gave you the wrong U joints. Thank you

    I always hit the end cap. I would never hit the yoke. You are replacing the end cap but not the yoke. Hopefully. The metal is real thin on the yoke. I don't hit anything anywhere on the actual driveline, except the endcaps. IJS.

    Hello RYAN,
    It was really great watching your video and it was very useful for me.
    I am a truck driver and I recently broke the truck drive shaft accidently and my company is ready to charge me for that. Can I please know that how much cost does it take to replace or repair a drive shaft of a Volvo truck? thanks :)

    I like to keep the drive shaft on the flange and use a jack to take off the caps that works as well and you don’t have to beat the crap out of the driveline but good job either way

    • @truckingandfixing
      @truckingandfixing  4 года назад +1

      Normally the instructions show you the torque setting, and experience plays a smaller role in it.

    I really enjoy these service videos you are doing. I am about to get a tractor, and having worked on lots of cars, pickups and ag equipment, seeing some work on your tractor has been of value to me. I am also considering leasing onto Landstar, so I am curious as to what their inspection schedule is. Is this a recurring 120 day, or is this just because you just returned with a new tractor?

    • @truckingandfixing
      @truckingandfixing  4 года назад

      The 120 day inspection is reoccurring once you come on board. I just posted a video on the topic if you want more info on the subject! Thanks for watching!
