      $550, is the cost, but I spent a lot of time studying the book they send you to learn all about a Steam Engine, then take a written test, then more instruction before you put your hand on that throttle. It is pretty intense knowing what whistle signals to send at grade-crossings, regulating your speed, & running that 90-Ton piece of equipment. When I was finished, I was mentally drained....

      That’s actually not the Mikado locomotive. Theirs is numbered 3025. Engine 40 is an American-made locomotive used in the logging industry; it was built in 1920.

      It is a Mikado, Engine 40 is a 2-8-2 meaning Mikado
