It's unbelievable what a driver has to do in a Formula 1 car, dealing with the adrenaline, the strength and the power of the car... It's not for everyone! This view is fantastic!

they don’t deal with adrenaline , they’re trained not to drive with adrenaline , adrenaline reduces reaction time , they drive so much that it’s like playing an instrument to them
It’s honestly unbelievable how people think this isn’t a sport
Now imagine doing this at full speed for an hour and a half, while battling/reacting to other drivers, and listening for team orders/information. Absolutely insane.

@@Anonymous13448 How is it intrusive? The camera is built into the padding of the helmet so for a driver it is no different
@@NihaalManesia They have cameras right now but they're very low quality due to the fact they have to weigh next to nothing. The weight of the camera is multiplied by 5+ on the driver's neck during the race due to the Gs that they pull in corners. So having something like this quality isn't realistic yet.
@@JohnSmith-fe1id I might have misunderstood the comment I first replied to. I understood it to be about the camera angle and not the quality of the camera. But yes I agree with you about the technological wall for quality vs weight/size.

It’s nice to see onboard footage like this. It shows that the drivers really are working like crazy around every corner. I’ve heard WAY too many people tell me that modern F1 cars are easy to drive because they have so much “electronic assistance”. They’re very tech heavy cars, but nowhere near easy to drive.

Red Bull doesn't always give you wings to fly. Sometimes they give rear wings to Yuki so he can stick to the ground like a magnet.
This is cool and all, but I gotta give props to the editor who rotoscoped the blur over the steering wheel. It was just on the LCD of the steering wheel and so smoothly done as well. 🤣

One thing sim racing games can learn from this is adding a good amount of wind sounds when the car is moving fast, along with a good amount of camera shake. Other than that sim racing games have come a long way and they pretty much look and feel the same as this POV atleast
camera shake is unrealistic tho, your head/eyes have some level of stabilization. The footage in this video looks like there is an earthquake

This is a better camera angle than the ones they show during a race the side cameras of the helmets
