Thanks everyone for all the love on this vid! An often forgotten standard :) I remember my first Cole Porter musical and learning all about not just the impact of his scandalous lyrics during the last turn of a century but also the freedom they brought to not just the "underground world" of NYC & Paris but humans everywhere because hey! it's the 20s & "Anything Goes"! I went on to write papers about his compositions/life story & interviewed by his family in a documentary about his life & works. Thanks Scott for adding this special tune to your collection of Standards & Melodies XO
Just wonderful job you two.
I've watched this several times but had not realized I'd neglected to click on Like. I guess I was too disappointed I couldn't click on Love! Thank you!
Sensationally sultry sunny holiday 💛
Absolutely wonderful performance Sunny and Scott! As usual....
Это представляет из себя целый спектакль. Просто Браво. Оба великолепны!
Awesome performance by both. Such a beautiful woman and voice. God bless you.
Love the inclusion of the intro, and not having made it a cheery up-tempo romp. It's a sad song, for pity's sake.
who knew AOC could sing......sorry......never on her best day......
This song was featured on KXCI 91.3 in Tucson
No way! Which version, I love catching the rare hits on the radio 🙌🏼
@@MissSunnyHoliday Hi. Actually, it's this video you just performed in. You and Scott Bradlee did an excellent version. It was a pleasure to get the song played on air. (I program a show called American Traditions that is broadcast on Sunday mornings on KXCI radio.)
Fantastic performance!
Perfection
I'd always thought this was a Boney M song... I'd no idea it was a Cole Porter song from the 1930s. They did cover quite a few songs, though, so I shouldn't be surprised. This was a fantastic rendition of it.
Yes such a scandalous tune for its time, love the Porter collection :) Thank you for listening! XO
Do you do the Girl From Ipanema ?
Great rendition and Sunny is a total smoke show.
Szép mint egy nyàri est !
Jó volt hallgatni az előadásokat !
Köszönöm szépen!
Sunny is such a smoke show
Can’t wait to see this mashed up with “Hey Big Spender” next Monday.
Ahhhh Love this idea :)
Is it warm in here? I need some air.
Hey @Scott Bradlee! Love the noir mix of this song that you guys put together! It’s like those handsome detectives and spies going into the pub and hearing this stuff!
❤️
Where do you find these girls??? I thought all the torch singers were gone. Yowza!
Honey, you are not auditioning to be a Playboy centerfold ok? Other than that the vocals are great and the Playing is fantastic!! It would have been a lot better without the Jessica Rabbit outfit..not being mean or disrespectful. Please forgive me if I sound as such. Your voice was fantastic. It is kinda like Whitney. You have a fantastic voice. You dont need to dress like the singers today who look like street walkers to get attention...I rather hear it now than see it...but good good job!
You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but I love the way she dressed the part. The song is about a prostitute, after all.
@@bennyrobertson THANKS FOR ACKNOWLEDGING THAT. I STILL FEEL THE SAME...GOD BLESS
The song is about a street walker
Nobody will ever be close to the late Whitney.
é linda mesmo ess Sunny
Sad lyrics but incredible show. Thanks!
I think it's great when products come stamped with an expiration date.
There is no doubt that Sunny knocked this out of the park! However, my first exposure to this song was none other than that raspy voiced wonder, Harvey Firestein, in Torch Song Trilogy. It will forever be my favorite performance.
Masterful performance by you both.
WOW! What a stunning version of this great song!
Wonderful
J'aime votre musique ( i love your music)
Back in the groove. Thank you.
Can't wait to see Lady Gaga sing this song
She and Tony Bennett do it on their most recent duet album.
Yay Sunny Holiday and Scott!
Excellent
captivating performances by both of you! Very tasteful vibrato, I must add
Aw thank you so much Bryce!!!
Wait, she didn't need that fan, I did!
❤️
Where is my breath!😳
Erm Wow.... That's it...
Scott Bradlee and Cole Porter. Of course!
Very beautiful piano solo
Hot damn, Sunny, you fox! 🤩🤩 Love it, y'all!
Awww thank you Rachel!!!
Awesome Jazz Noir piece here! Congrats Scott and Sunny.
Thank you Michael! XO
Great performance by Sunny 😍… especially with Scott playing with only finger through most of the song… 😁
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
very nice
Lovely. Thanks.
While I still prefer the Julie London, it's very, very close now.
Yay Sunny and Scott!! This is so beautiful!
Thank you Dawn!!! Can't wait till the next PRL :)
Not many could blend gamin with Jezebelian as Sunny does. . .
I've come over all thirties! @Miss Sunny Holiday - I'm a 'big fan' (see what I did there? 😉)
HAHA I LOVE it! Thanks for the listen hun!
@@MissSunnyHoliday You're very welcome!
Sad that she didn't put a dress on over that corset.
Mmm what I'd like to know is if this ended in bed 😉??
