Awesome video! Did not know about the squirrel situation! Here in Appalachia, most places are devoid of squirrels from cats and dogs, but you drive 5 minutes down the roads, and they're everywhere because nothing else eats them! Always wondered how Starlings got here. I could never think of a way they could get here accidently or any reason to bring them here on purpose.
I heard Dingo situation is complicated, I think, they are alien too, but not invasive? And I heard about some invasive plant in Latin America, but local birds rely on their fruits (stem or something) because they fruit late.
Yea dingo is complicated, but the general conclusion is actually the opposite of your thought They are considered invasive, but native because their introduction happened long time ago that its basically before history, so it is the rare example of "invasive native species"
great video, I really appreciated the explanation of the terms "invasive" and "alien"
Babe wake up, Out of Place Zoologist just uploaded!

I’m disappointed by a lack of Amazon basin cocaine hippos.
Jokes aside great video =]
I expected the definition of invasive to just be that a species performs better in the new location than it does in it's own.
