Unbelievable beauty, watching these mountains, I am increasingly convinced that Bulgaria is a piece of Paradise. :) Until 1951 the village is called Belitsa. The village is located at the foot of the Pirin Mountains. Natural phenomenal rock formations surround the village from the north, east and south. Above the village there is a healing spring, /known as Baba Vanga's spring/, where a beautiful chapel complex is built. The water is recommended for treatment of diseases of the eyes, brain and hair. The man who sells handmade souvenirs says he is painting on marble, stones, bottles and he also draws frames. Hanging from the window are calabash gourds. The gourd was one of the world's first cultivated plants grown not primarily for food, but for use as containers. In the central part of the village there are marble fountains. The center is built entirely with marble from the largest quarry on the Balkan Peninsula for marble extraction, located above the village. To the village there is a detached villa zone, which is situated in a mixed-coniferous and deciduous forest. There is also built a dam, which is loaded and offers practicing of sport and amateur fishing. The village that is near Ilindentsi in the end is probably Strumyani.:)
Beautiful village.I am from Canada.I have been to Bulgaria two times. I lived in Plovdiv for almost three months.I wanted to buy a property in Bulgaria to stay but, I could not get a permanent residence . If you want to retire, Bulgaria is the best place. My favourite city is Plovdiv...
All my family is from this Village - Ilindenci. 🙂 This is amazing place, beautiful nature, good weather, and most important, this village is capital of wine - Keracuda! This is white wine with amazing taste. Cheers 🥂
nice country, everything very green and no drought like in Greece or Spain. What causes excessive drought is killing of mother cow. Mother cow should be respected. When people want to eat meat they can eat other animals but not the cow. Village life is happy life. Villagers should not be fooled to come to the industrial regions and start to smoke and drink out of frustration.
Wow! That was cool. That was a very fine looking design for a home and looked well crafted too. What a lovely place. I can see why artists could find inspiration at that location. Lots of Light! I'll have to get caught up on some of your Bulgaria vlog. and learn more. Wonderful views, Spectacular weather! Thank You for making these Awesome videos! Best and Happy Traveling!
Hi Janna I think you have to keep your videos minimum 10 minutes length, correct me if I am wrong. This is applicable if you would like to earn through youtube videos..
The Bulgaria villages look so very beautiful.. But, as you mentioned Janna.... Some are good some are abandoned!.... But, why?... Cold weather?.... Too hard for transport?...Why some houses abandoned?.... It looks sad to see!!
Young people are in big cities looking for work or abroad. The elderly people are gradually leaving this world and the villages are depopulated. 20 years ago it was not so, almost every village had a school with children. Lately, many people have begun to return to the villages, and they will be revived again.
I see in your videos , Bulgaria is green and beautiful country. Your voice & tone are seducing. I am an MSW , 44 age never married man. Is there Bulgarian girl to marry me?
