Thanks for reviewing this one, Kevin. Have not been over enthousiastic about the Benriachs I've had so far, but have not tried any recent expressions, so maybe I'll have to give it another try. Slàinte mhath
Longmorn and Benriach built at the same time, just off the main road South leaving Elgin, Benriach always the bridesmaid in that marriage, would be interesting to see this version compared with the Billy Walker bottle.
They do reserve the right to chill filter these, on a batch-by-batch basis. Do not remember where I heard it, but it was from the distillery itself. RUclips interview. Cask-imparted c o l e u r though definitely means no e150. Not clever roundabout language. I mean, we're not in the rum or cognac world here, ha ha.
That’s amazing I didn’t know that and the language they use in the bottle doesn’t really let you know if it’s no added colour or a little. So I appreciate the comment and being able to understand more about there sneaky language on there. Slainte buddy and have a great weekend
Thanks Kevin. Always enjoy learning more about the back story on these whiskies and hearing about something that I have yet to try. Cheers!
