I have to disagree with the Tripple H one you got to think about the matches he had with the belt One of the top ten matches of all time Is when Stone Cold had the title he went against everyone plus Mannagement basically Tripple H never had to go through everyone and Mannagement so I can’t give Tripple H on WWF /E title belt

24:41 Ross is a man of culture by saying Asuka. 👏 There's been some good NXT Women's Champions like: Mandy, Shayna, Iyo, Bayley Paige and etc. But Asuka takes this one since she didn't lost the title and I know someone is going to comment and say, "But Paige also didn't lose the title, too!" Which is true; however, Asuka held the title longer than Paige let alone had a little bit more memorable moments with the title than Paige. Nevertheless, great video Ross. 🙂
I have to say, I actually agree with Finn Balor and the NXT title. When Adam Cole debuted, everyone knew who he was from Ring of Honor and all the attention ROH had at the time. Though he was already a star in his own right, not everybody knew about Prince Devitt. Many people learned about Bullet Club after he was gone (including me). Finn really had to make that impact and became a true star in NXT, because a lot of us missed his time in New Japan and we had to go back into the archives. When I think about guys like Adam Cole or Tomasso Ciampa, even though they still contributed to the growth of NXT, the brand was well-established during their reigns. It was well-established as THE place to be before the Undisputed Era ever debuted. Finn was there for the boom period of NXT - he was the guy on top, becoming the longest reigning champion (before Adam Cole) when all eyes were shifting toward NXT as the best show in WWE, and possibly equal to everything that was happening in New Japan. Plus, there were people who would literally watch the PLEs just to see what kind of design/entrance Finn would bust out for his Demon character (which Vince was quick to exploit when Finn debuted on the main roster). Finn's entrance was epic, fans loved him - everything he did made him the number one draft pick in 2016, and they strapped the rocket to him to become the inaugural Universal champion. Had he not gotten hurt, his career might've looked very different in WWE. Lastly, even though it took some time for him to win the title a second time, many people don't remember his second run in NXT before winning the belt. It took months, but whenever you think of his heel(ish) run in NXT, you think of him as the champion. It was his show and Undisputed Era had to take a backseat to the prince. And, none of those guys ever got called up, officially. They left and went to AEW - which, I don't blame them. I think they got it right, Finn was the best choice.

But the guy who has carried and defined that belt all time has to be John Cena
Cena is the Greatest WWE Champion. He truly elevated that title more than anyone else. Other champions actually carried HIS title when he introduced the spinner belt.
I would say that’s a fair assessment it really depends on what generation your in no wrong or right answers there but I would also say Stone cold because of how he won it dude had to literally not Quit and then went through Vince to get it even managed to face Vince John only had to go through regular competition and maybe a GM he didn’t have to go through Vince
Basically what you’re saying is John Cena was the hulk hogan of his era. People shouldn’t forget the hulk hogan laid the blue print for someone like John Cena, except John cena is a much better athlete than Hogan. I’d pick hogan over cena because late 2000s to early 2010s, Cena was getting very stale just like hogan in his late runs but wwe still pushed cena more.

Yeah that’s a tough one I personally think Hulk Hogan as far as length but popularity wise it’s Stone Cold when Stone Cold had it it represented Everyone as in race gender Sexuality ect everyone back then that had a job or was young had a job or just culture in general wanted to stun there superiors wether it was the government , they boss , they brother , they sister , ect it didn’t matter everyone related to that . You have to remember the U.S. title was almost always treated like an afterthought. Yeah there had been great champions in the past, but they were always outshined by the main champions. However, Cena was already a top talent and used the US title to help evaluate younger talent. Not to mention he started to put on some amazing matches (that match with Cesaro in particular was my personal favorite). He definitely deserves to be called that because he brought attention to the title. His US Open Challenges were always being looked forward to at the time

Greatest WWE Champion of All Time for me is John Cena because of my era started watching wrestling in 2006. There’s 2 people who got me into watching wrestling and that is my dad and John Cena. Also The Undertaker, Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista but John was the main one.

I always loved the European championship I feel they should bring it back to smackdown cause like in the Attitude era there were many titles for others to deserve hold the intercontinental championship or the WWE championship gives the title and the wrestler to shine and I feel like they bring the TV championship to Raw cause that one championship been to numerous different Wrestling promotions Like ECW WCW NWA TNA AND NJPW I feel will give others to shine and give loads of great exposure also my opinion

I agree with Ross about Adam Cole for best NXT Champion.
I know Gunther has done a lot for the IC Championship, but you also have Randy Savage, Mr. Perfect, Bret Hart, and Shawn Michaels as great choices and I wouldn't argue about any of them.
As much as I like Batista, I'd have Triple H, Undertaker, and Edge above him for the WHC.
Hulk Hogan is a good choice for the WWF/WWE Championship, but so is Bruno Sammartino, Austin and The Rock. Bruno for carrying the company in the early days, and Austin and The Rock also like Hogan for what they did for wrestling in the mainstream.
Right so that’s why Stone Cold and Rock vs Hulk Hogan is a conversation that depends on the generation you was in if you was born in the old generation your gonna go Hulk Hogan if you was born in like 1990-present your pickings Stone Cold and The Rock it’s a tough one

Honestly, I think Jericho is overrated as an IC champ. He's held it the most and had good matches, but I'd say Miz did more to elevate it & defend it across his 8 reigns to Jericho's 9. Bret & Gunther are in a class above everyone for me though, cause of what I personally value in a champ.

While he wouldn't be my pick, I'm surprised nobody mentioned Ultimate Warrior as being in the running for IC. He absolutely dominated for over a year (aside from one screwjob finish), while becoming so popular that he earned himself a clean win over Hulk Hogan in his prime.
As far my pick for best WWWF/WWF/WWE Champion is Bruno Samaritino, this guy held championship for years at a time and was having matches the where so long that they had to closing the building down before they were done, talk about a motor I don't think Austin or Hogan could have done that
For me Worldheavy Champion would be either edge or Undertaker...Their SmackDown matches for the title were good...

I like Gunther. His title matches have been great, and he can win with little to no shinanigans from his faction. I can't think of one title match with The Tribal Chief where he didn't have help with the win
You definitely started watching wrestling in 2023, lol. Roman won nearly all of his matches in 2020 and 2021 clean, and he beat KO at the Rumble by himself.

Because unless you have a severe case of dementia, I'm pretty sure 99% of wrestling fans can name multiple matches not just from that year, but other years in the Tribal Chief era where he won without their interference.
Also, you didn't say "win clean", that's entirely different than "help from his faction". The KO match I was referring to at the Rumble was last year, when he beat KO without any bloodline interference, albeit with a low blow.
Beat Edge+D-bry at mania, beat Montez, beat Big E, beat Edge, beat Sami, and beat Cena without the faction physically interfering. Pretty sure he beat Cesaro that way too. All in 2021, in case you were wondering. He also beat Riddle, Goldberg, and Brock at Mania in '22 with no bloodline interference.

I started watching back in 1987 (WM3 was my first PPV I saw) so I was around in the thick of Hulkamania. That said, my pick for WWF champ would be Bret Hart. His 5 reigns advanced the belt more than anyone previous to him. It went from a paint by numbers type match to more so a “modern” wrestling match during his reigns.
Additionally, he didn’t outstay his welcome as a face like Hogan did. Hogan was always there, whether the champ or not, as the main event draw…meanwhile Hart, while always upper card, wouldn’t be shoved in our face like Hogan was
We can't forget American Alpha for NXT Tag Team Champions either.

Him saying Flair's SD title reigns are all more memorable than Bayley's pandemic run is fucking insane lmao she literally carried the women's division in the pandemic with Banks. I like Flair unlike a lot of people but the biggest problem with her is most of her runs are forgettable, just for stat-padding, and overall just transitional reigns for someone else to get a good babyface pop.

Gregory Helms did a great job with the cruiserweight title I just wish he had been able to move up the card like Rey did.
Yeah the problem was Helms was mainly portrayed as a comedy wrestler as The Hurricane and Vince didn't think too highly of the Cruiserweights at the time. Rey was able to move up because he already had an established career at that point

When I think of the World Heavyweight Championship that was retired in 2014 I always associate it with The Undertaker because you literally had to kill him or in HBK’s case screw him over for one more WeestleMania match to get the title off of him. HHH, Edge, and Batista were all amazing World Heavyweight Champions, but in my opinion that belt belonged to The Undertaker

'Taker is awesome don't get me wrong but he didn't have that many lasting reigns with the belt. Mainly because a legendary figure such as him don't need it. Batista had an absoluate amazing build to his World Heavyweight title reign (still has my favorite Face turn of all time) and the title just looks so good with him.

You got names like Jericho won the title the most times, HBK, Razor Ramon, Bret Hart, Steamboat, Warrior and Macho Man that elevated the title, included names like Bret Hart, The Rock, HHH, like c'mon. But imo, Jericho or Bret Hart, though I want Gunther to break Honky Tonk Man's reign. 🙏 Oh God, please have him win at SummerSlam. Divas: Beth Pheonix or AJ Lee and MODERN era, yeah John Cena with U.S. title.
