One must correct the commentator. The first two men to hold the crowns over the royal couple's heads were of course Crown Prince Haakon and Prince Michael of Greece, a cousin of His Majesty The King, NOT Crown Prince Gustav of Sweden. Crown Prince Carl Gustav would have been a bit young to attend. One is not sure if he did. His grandfather King Gustav Adolf of course attended as a grandfather to the bride.
Must correct myself. It is of course Crown Prince Harald of Norway.
@@achimgussgen-ackva8637the 18-year old Crown Prince Carl Gustav did indeed attend, he is seen @0:44 standing in front of Prince Ingolf of Denmark (upon marriage with a commoner in 1968 Count Ingolf of Rosenborg).

Nice guy but he was Danish. No traces to Greece at all. Compare him with Manuel II (last king of Portugal) which was a direct descendent of Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal in 1137.

He was still the King of Greece since his great grandfather was elected by assembly to become George I, even though he had no Greek ancestry

@@syntheticdawn4992 It's Glucksburg. And he was from the Danish branch of the House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glucksburg. The House have provided many monarchs who ruled Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Greece, several states in Germany and the UK at various time.
