Well spotted! It does rather look like the late Earl, or rather more popularly known as The Viscount Althorp.. He certainly would not have been out of place being there as he served as equerry to both our late Queen and her father, George V1 around about that time. More so, the Viscount was married at that time to the daughter of one of our late Queen's 'Ladies-in-Waiting'. (Ruth Fermoy, I think). Lot's of 'Royal' connections and by golly, I should have thought that NOT inviting him would have been deemed most odd!

Well spotted! It does rather look like the late Earl, or rather more popularly known as The Viscount Althorp.. He certainly would not have been out of place being there as he served as equerry to both our late Queen and her father, George V1 around about that time. More so, the Viscount was married at that time to the daughter of one of our late Queen's 'Ladies-in-Waiting'. (Ruth Fermoy, I think). Lot's of 'Royal' connections and by golly, I should have thought that NOT inviting him would have been deemed most odd!
This royal wedding holds so much love, romance, morality, dignity and panache. The late Queen Elizabeth II absolutely loved her cousins. ❤🫡🇬🇧🇦🇺💯

And I am glad to see there already was a "best man" in this marriage, also the brother of the bridegroom as was the case with William and Harry even though the media made it look as if they introduced something new and non-royal to have a best man. :) AND... they also had rings!

I believe it to be The Widor March, properly known as Toccata, 5th organ symphony,. ( I have edited this reply as I realised that I'd typed Vidor and not Widor- silly me, it's only pronounced with a V !!!). I learned to play this piece way back in the seventies for a family members wedding. Gosh! so young and certainly not talented enough to take on such an enormous piece. Perhaps no one noticed all my little errors!

Always sad to think Keny children growing up without a father. Michael was only weeks old when his father died on active duty in an airplane crash. Fun fact: one of Michael's middle names is Franklin in honor of his godfather, FDR.
