This just shows what a sweet soul Gabby Petito is, and she needs to be found as soon as possible. Her friends and family are devastated and cannot believe that this is happening.

Probably hidden to protect the biofathers secrets and probably also hidden because american white privledge society goes overboard on forcing a perfect society that they have made it taboo to discuss this subject of biodaddies not wanting their babies to the point they murder their own while developing in the womb. Woman have to learn not to say they are leaving, but to make a plan and get away. Just to be clear, it's never a woman's fault he gets violent, but information can help save your life.

That's what he did. He got out. She probably was beating him and he snapped and pushed her or something and hit her head. Maybe he came after him with a knife like my ex and we almost got stabbed struggling for the knife.
@@ebogar42 Unfortunately Gabby's friend confirmed that Brian was controlling. He stole Gabby's ID so she couldn't go out at night with her girlfriend to go line dancing. It's been confirmed that it was Gabby's van and yet she never got to drive it. Brian was always behind the wheel. On the bodycam video even Gabby doesn't realize that the reason for lashing out at Brian wasn't simply because he was telling her to calm down. It wasn't just because he made it clear that he was never going to be supportive of her aspirations or be the husband she needed him to be. A part of her knew that something was wrong but she didn't have the words to articulate it to anyone. Gabby blamed herself for her relationship problems on the bodycam video. She felt the fight occured because of her being in a bad mood.
Her friend saw the problems in their relationship but didn't have the heart to tell her. We only found out about Brian's control issues in the video interview they did with her friend as they searched for Gabby. Anyone's guess is as good as mine but my hunch is she might have suggested they break up and that's when things really went bad. After they spent that night apart, she may have realized that it would be better if they split up and Brian wouldn't have it.

Everyone on camera /video in a setting such as that would conduct themselves the very same way. People are so quick to make decisions on people solely based off of video and pictures. It's what you see off camera is what matters and to her family and friends she was full of life and love as we all are to our family and friends however Intimate relationships are not as pictures and happy cute family, couple vacationing etc etc videos and photos l...when in a deep relationship people turn off their outside voices and out of the house facades/ behaviours and are much more themselves and who they really are. This is not at all to take away from the beauty of Gabby, she is a gorgeous girl who I believe her pictures and videos to be true for the most part but of course a human is only a human and reports have come out and stated she is "very vocal/verbal/stubborn etc" a polite and respectful way to say she fought with him constantly and their fights carried out terribly and that she and he are both toxic people and should not have been together. She and he both stated they suffer from anxiety. Idk what kind of anxiety and or why they ha e it at such a young age, living the dream of living in your van on a road trip like what worry in the world do you have right? Or is it bc she feared Brian daily. Same with him why does he have anxiety? From what? Doesn't seem either one had a bad upbringing and no reports stating they experienced a horrifying event etc etc etc...
See all of this is irrelevant. You can break down all you want, and try to figure it out as we learn. But both sides need to be looked at thoroughly and without bias. She was an aggressive girl with him. This by no means warrant a murder of for him to even verbally attack her what he should have done is broke up with her if she was too verbal too needy too set in her ways... Least you were t married with children. So what was the wait. It wasnt a healthy relationship and it takes 2 to tango. Brian may have been the quiet one and reserved in highschool too so she does the talking for them like opposites attract. Seems the good times happened more than bad but the bad times were really bad and turned out fatal. 2 lives now gone. It will be interesting to see how it pans out

When police stopped them, they were going to blame her for domestic abuse. Then she ends up dead. Since I've been online I've been shocked at USA culture where many men seem to be aggressive and angry about women, where many spend all day online promoting abuse against women. Seems a lot more sick than European culture. I wonder if it's because USA is the only nation apart from the middle east that routinely cir'cise baby boys for non medical reasons, so that some grow up angry at being assaulted like that and to have less feeling with a partner, which makes some angry which they then try and take out on women?
Don't think it helps when internet services like youtube allow those types to make videos claiming they don't want women, but instead of going away and leaving women alone, they spend their time on the video comments promoting abuse of women.

While I was watching the body cam footage of the traffic stop I could see how scared she actually was of him and it was like she wanted to tell the police something but she was either to scared too or she didn't want get him in any trouble cause she did love him...she seemed like such a sweet and innocent soul and it breaks my heart that he took her from the world cause I think she would've done wonderful things!

Exactly what I felt watching that police body cam video. It was obvious she was frightened. When the female park ranger felt something was wrong and spoke to her. I think they should have called a social worker, taken her in, impounded her van, called her parents to come get her safely home and away from him.

This is the second happy video of Gabby, in which she appears, to me, to have been crying earlier. She just does.
She seemed like a child at heart. She represented a sense of innocence we all want and still had a so much enthusiasm for leading a adventurous life. Her family knows she will live on in many ways. The nasty man's parents will live in a mental hell.

@@Mia-vm6pl Gabby is not to be blamed. Abuse in a relationship is insidious. Specifically, narcissistic abusers. In the beginning they “love bomb” you. Things move fast and everything is going right. Than one day maybe he/she says something weird, maybe a comment about your friends or family that is odd. A negative comment about you. The abuser (man or woman) learns how to push your buttons. Sometimes they will isolate you from friends and family. They can isolate you physically from them but also turn you against your family and friends. That’s your support system. They don’t want you to have any support besides them. The abuser will do things that make it hard for you to leave. Maybe take your keys, important documents, phone, and car. Sometimes the abuser will want to turn the tables and play the victim. They will push the right buttons so you too begin calling them names or get into a physical fight with them. These types of abusers can bring out the worst in people. Even good people. They break you down mentally. You don’t trust yourself anymore. You need your abuser to make decisions as you can’t think clearly anymore.
Sometimes the victims will even begin to think they are the abusers. They will blame themselves. However, the real abuser will never take responsibility. They will blame you for the problems in the relationship. Outsiders will sometimes blame the victim too. This is what keep a lot of people trapped in the cycle of abuse. Victim blaming allows people to believe that such events could never happen to them. Everyone should educate themselves on this subject. Bring it to light and maybe it will safe someone’s life. You never know. Maybe you recognize someone to be in an abusive relationship. It could be you, a friend, or loved one. Letting them know there’s an out and they have your support to help them leave. Remember though that leaving is the most dangerous point in an abusive relationship.

Thank you for trying to educate those who might be reading this thread and who want to find understanding on how individuals find themselves in abusive relationships. And I agree light needs to be shed on more mental health awareness in so many areas. It's not as cut and dry as some like to think it is. It's simply not. Once people stop and compassionately look and educate themselves a whole new awareness of how the world is will be an enlightening moment. I've been on my own trauma based self reparenting healing journey and its taught me so much. I look at everyone with kinder eyes bc you never really know what's going on with people.

It is short sighted to say such things as "this isn't 1965." I hope you will take my words as one human being to another that we always have areas of growth and the understanding of human nature, mental health, etc that we can gain a bigger understanding of. Personally I think it should be required in middle school, highschool and college that mental health and well-being be covered as part of the curriculum.

This is a typical case of narcissistic abusive relationships, that many struggle getting out of. It's truly very sad. You can say what you want about her hitting her partner, there is no doubt she fought back, but she's gone now. And it was at the hands of her abuser.

Sadly no. People murdered with no guns involved died with pain... Lot of pain. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, sometimes longer. This poor girl was tortured and had horrific death. Very sad. She look so innocent and kind, the perfect victim in this evil world

She had it all going for her and I fear Brian chose to take it all away and she clearly loved him and was devoted to him. I think he was so jealous of her achievements and talents and she was getting more recognition and it was taking time away from him.
