They have to develop a working gui for the most important internet browser; without the actual browser to test the changes, it would be almost impossible.
at 2:30 that log in . is that something that if someone from my isp created on my current router does that transfer to this router or do i create my own. because it was quite clear on if you make it or your isp makes it
I'm new to wireless networking and instructions for RT-N66U are vague concerning USB storage devices. What if I just want local computers to access USB storage drive through RT-N66U? Is there a way for all devices to access it, but only through local intranet, or must I use AiCloud? I'm SO confused and ready to return it all...
This was the only router that was able to cover my town home. My place is not a big place, but all other N routers couldn't get a signal downstairs but this one did the job.
He mentiones (3:20) using unique SSIDs for each band. I had thought it would be preferable to use the same SSID so mobile clients could move around and always get the strongest signal without switching networks. Am I wrong here?
Im having a problem with the router. The direct wire from the modem is 100 mbps but soon as i plug it into the router it isnt giving me the full speed through wired connection. Not sure why its not giving me the full speed but im sitting here 20 to 30 mbps after going through the router
whats the point of 2 wirless networks at different speeds. are these wireless ( 66u 2.4ghz-5ghz) and if im using wired connection to 3 pc's do i need to set this up? finally, if im using wired and i use one pc to connect to 66u 2.4 and another to connect to 5.0ghz will they show up on the network or does it count as two different networks, sorry im new to pc networking so please help? thanks
i have a problem ,, >> i have this router in my home, and i have 4 computers, 3 laptop and 1 normal PC , the 4 computers have internet but when I'm playing in the big PC and someone use some of the laptops my game becomes slower and i cant play with that kind of lag in my game ,, how can i change that ? it seems the router have more priority with the laptops than the big PC
Change the traffic manager setting. Turn on QOS and then define the QOS rule for your game. You will need to know the ports your game uses which you can probably get off their website or something. Then set the QOS priorities to restrict the bandwidth on each priority level. Highest giving full 100% and lowest giving something like 20% bandwidth. With QOS turned on without configuring anything, web traffic will have priority over something that is not defined.
So what do you do when you get to 4:47 and it tells you your internet status is disconnected? ruclips.net/video/wliQCyKCCVM/видео.htmlm47s Also it says: Unable to connect to the Internet. Please double-check your account data with your ISP or contact ASUS Support Hotline for technical inquiries and support.
You make it look so easy. I have done everything just like this, but i get up another screen asking for my internett connection delivered throuh the ISP. You didnt get that and i have done it correctly with the correct information but it says ''Your internett connection has been timed, want to try again?'' Wtf, i have tried over a hundred times. Some help or is this just some piece of shit?
Best. Router. Ever.

Do you have to subscribe any service or you can just surf the web once you've setup the router?
You can Surf the web once you've bought the router.
