    Good video, one question about hat St-20 HSS, Is it good for keeping the strings tuned in general? And after using the tremolo bar ?

      At first, like many six point S style bridges unless properly setup will have issues. The only mod I did was replace the string trees with string rollers. I have mine setup as a floater for 09’s. It’s a fun guitar for the price. The nut on the st20’s are plastic however was cut pretty decent. Remember to lube the nut. My holds tune really well.

      @@lovingsguitar by the way, do you think it's necessary to replace the nut or just lube ? And what lube do you use ? 🤙

      my general rule is this; If the first fret doesn't buzz or string goes out of tune by string over first too high off first fret then the nut is fine. String tree rollers and nut lube should do the trick. I've used BIG BENDS, Nut Sauce and MUSIC NOMAD, Tune-It. Both work very well. Stay tuned I will be making a video on how to setup a vintage six point bridge trem as a floater.

    It sounds good if the person playing it is good imo, the great thing about budget guitars is that they make great platforms to learn about modding if you aren't familiar, and there are tons of extremely affordable upgrades that would make improvements without costing very much

      I totally agree. Thank you for commenting. What I find most fascinating is budget guitars are more prone to receive upgrades specifically tailored to the owner. Decades of guitars have passed thru many hands and to be honest nowadays the challengers in the market is not solely the domain of high priced big brand name manufacturers. I have for many years embraced upstart manufacturers making possible the first initial intrigue into the hands of a new enthusiast. I say allow the hands, ears and heart to decide what feels right. In time, a better understanding of all aspects comes into view. Most importantly stick to what you know rather than what people tell you. Thank again for commenting and shedding a positive light for those that acquire a budget guitar. Salud. 🍷

      @@lovingsguitar eloquently said, I agree, and each real player has their own preference of feel, sound, action, strings gauge, etc.which is why I'm all for making them the way that best suits the player(if need be)

    Hi, It's possible to know the exact dimensions of the bridge (from 1 to 6 screw)?. I have a Musiclily ultra 52.5mm and I would like to know if it is compatible. Do you also know if a standard fender neck will fit? I have a good Squier neck. Can you tell me how far apart the 4 neck screws are and the width of the notch? Thank you very much, Alberto

    I can't get excited about the Strat shape to be honest but it sounded ok; and for the price why not?. Super entertaining vlog

      Thank you so much for commenting and I appreciate the support. I totally understand. For many years I too did not gravitate to Strats at all. After digging deep about how to set up a vintage trem system to stay in tune I finally grew a better respect for the Strat shape. This particular model is what many would call a beginner or first guitar. Once setup, it’s not bad at all and for the price it wont hurt the wallet so much.
