I regret buying the 8070 for auto detailing. You can’t squeeze the trigger very long at all without the water going cold. I took it to two different service centers, as I thought there was definitely something wrong with it. Both said it’s working normal. 1 wet pass per 2 or 3 dry passes to keep the heat going. Ummm, I don’t have that kind of time. Not their fault, I should have researched the product more. I got an awesome cold water extractor….🤣 The 200 watt heater difference of the HP60 makes that much of a difference in maintaining heat?
The HP60 does maintain the heat a lot better. There are also external heater options if you'd like. When you get a chance you can give me a call and we have a chat. 877-926-3748 ext 200
I got the mytee lite and the water stays hot longer when you use it with a jetless tool like the sapphire scientific upholstery tool because it uses less water.
@@JorgeGonzalez-vb2cs That is really a good pointer. So, a tool like the Mytee GT to go with that www.magicwandcompany.com/product/mytee-dry-metallic-upholstery-tool/
How many watts is the mytee 8070 using all the 3 stage motor . heat , pump , and vacuum, I am looking to buy a generator but I wanna make sure how many watts needs this machine
Hi Robert, the Generator we use for our set ups is 8000 watts. You can see here in this listing www.magicwandcompany.com/product/truck-mount-generator-8000-watts/ As far as the components, the highest wattage will come from the heater at 1000W, everything else is pretty low.
I ordered a glide for my 12 inch wand, theres small gaps on each end, since that wont make contact with the carpet, its going to make me lose some lift,I recommend making them slightly longer,it was not a perfect fit,but everything else was top notch, quality and build,i will just fill them up,but just a tip.
So it’s pretty interesting how they did the names. The Grand Prix is like the HP 60 just bigger. So, more capacity. And interestingly enough, it is exactly the same as the Contractor Special. So you can see it’s kind of relative depends on if you need a bigger tank or a smaller size machine. Here’s the link to the Contractor special: www.magicwandcompany.com/product/mytee-contractor-special/
Just like any upholstery cleaning machine, it's made to be used with a 4 inch upholstery tool. You use a 12 inch wine on it you're gonna get a third less pressure a third less vacuum and a third last heat. :)
Thanks for taking the time to make this informative video

@@magicwandcompany thank you for the answer, happy new year by the way.
Could you not just put hot water in it plus heating element for the 8070?
You can , but the water wont stay as hot by the time it reaches the fabric.
Thanks for explaining this 😎👍
I have the opportunity to have both machines, hp60 more consistent heat but 8070 has more power suction.
I'd definitely go with the Hp60 !
